The food, service and atmosphere is the pinnacle of what a Chinese Restaurant should be. Crown palace never disappoints and is not only very good but consistent. The menu has some innovative dishes not commonly found in other restaurants. We'll be back soon!

We tried this place after hearing nothing but wonderful things. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. With how pricey the items are, you’d think you’re paying for quality, but that’s not the case. My $20 general tso meal went in the trash- there were so many vegetables that overpowered the actual chicken, the chicken tasted awful. The pork fried rice was flavorless. Crab Rangoons were terrible. The wonton soup was OK. My husband didn’t care for his chicken and broccoli either and it went in the trash. L Will not be ordering from here again. Oh, P.S.- the website says they offer delivery but they don’t.

I'm a vegetarian and was told the vegetable dishes were good for vegetarian diets. I found out that the vegetables were cooked with a meat based broth. I was only able to eat steamed vegetables which would have been cheaper to make at home. The waiter was wonderful but there wasn't much he could do. I wouldn't have gone there if they were honest. That was a huge disappointment and even worse because it was a special birthday dinner. We won't be returning anytime soon!Vegetarian options: There isn't any

Food was so good. We had dim sum and spent under $60 for the two of us and we took another serving of leftovers home with us. This included 2 Boba teas. Had people at the next table who were so friendly. They realized we were there for the first time. Husband couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Service was lacking a little bit. We had to ask for drinks and hot oil as no one came to the table to ask but I do have to say we went on a Sunday and it was soooo busy.

IMHO The best and most authentic dim sum experience you can find in the US! I haven’t been able to find better dim sum restaurants in NYC, Philly, DC, Atlanta or any other cities in the east coast. I thought west coast might have better ones, but no, Crown Palace is still the best in the US. This explains why it has been opened more than 26 years!!!

They have a great Dim Sum experience however the regular menu doesn't have anything special that any other neighborhood place would have. I have been coming here over 20 years, last nights meal was a waste of money.I will continue to patronize for dim sum but will no longer eat here for anything else. Tasteless, uninspired too many other options in my neighborhood.
After paying we were enjoying our time and sitting for a few extra minutes before leaving and the lady rudely interrupted 3 times, rushing to tell us to sign the receipt so she can take it. This is after the card was already ran and brought back. It was so rude, unprofessional and I hope it doesn’t happen againNever had that happen before.

Last time I went food was subpar - shrimp in scallion / ginger was fried shrimp! Too many bamboo shoots and smothered in some black sauce. Ordered a cssserole and had old Pork charshu and random vegetables Chicken Mei fun had green peppers in it - not cut thinly Overall the taste is going down seems to be catering more toward non Asians. They need to up the game majorly Only Credit goes to the garlic fried chicken that was authentic and crispy

While visiting family here in NJ, we decided we were all craving Chinese food. After doing extensive research, we discovered there wasn't anything that had stellar reviews, but Crown Palace looked like our best option. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful a decision this turned out to be.It was a snowy, cold night and the restaurant (a little confusing to find but not too bad) wasn't full. It's a lovely place with decor that reminds me of my favorite restaurants in Hong Kong. The minute we arrived the service was amazing - very accommodating and welcoming. Hot tea and the best (housemade) noodles were whisked to the table, and no one hovered over us while we decided on the menu. We ended up getting the Family Dinner, which was a very wise decision. For the three of us, we had Hunan Shrimp, Roast Pork with Beansprouts, and substituted Chicken Mei Fun Noodles for Chicken Chow Fun. Two of us opted for wonton soup, while one had the egg drop, which were all excellent. The meal comes with a choice of an appetizer, too, so two had eggrolls and I had the dim sum option, which was one piece of shumai and was also very good. Our entree choices were great, with the Chow Fun being (in my opinion) the best. From presentation to portions, everything was perfect and the tastes were all delicious. We had more than enough for the three of us and had leftovers as well, which is always nice. They even packed them beautifully. And of course, the Family Dinner menu comes with ice cream, which looked and tasted so good - and the jello and pineapple was an appreciated surprise touch. As a huge dim sum fan, I am already making plans for lunch on the weekend. I cannot wait to go back!
