Osteria Pizza & Parm

Love this place. In my opinion this might be the finest restaurant in Monmouth County. Last night had mussels and clams in white sauce….succulent. The entree was baked ziti with sausage. Sooooo good. I always sit at the bar. Carly was working. We’ve known her for a few years. Service was excellent.

Osteria -81 South Main Street, Marlboro Order upon arrival there, it takes 12 minutes for the plain pizza to be ready, eat in the car (due to coronavirus, no dining in restaurant, take out orders only) so that the bottom is still crispy. If you order ahead of time for pickup, the pizza could be sitting there by the time you arrive & the bottom is no longer crispy. Both plain $13 & Grandma $19, pizzas are good. Bathrooms in the back. We usually get our pizzas from across the street at Pizza & Pasta Factory. Fancied a change, and stopped in at Osteria Pizza & Parm. The decor is quite nice, better than any other pizzeria in the area. Staff is friendly, and the place is clean. But, who are we kidding, this is Jersey, we didn't stop in for friendly, we came for a slice and ended up with two each. We both had a slice of Grandma's, my wife a margarita, and me a sausage.
