The Pickled Herring Reviews
Very disappointed on last visit. Have they changed owners? All new staff. Corned beef sandwich was just odds and ends little pieces…scraps! Usually go once a month. Will try only once more, especially at these prices.
They charge $1.75 for coleslaw if you take out a sandwich but gives you the coleslaw if you eat it there! Makes no sense. Asked the owner why. His answer. “If you don’t like it. Don’t come back. The balls on this guy! We come every 2 weeks with our men’s club. Guess what! NO MORE! You can find us now at Fred and Murray’s. BYE BYE!😎
finally git to go last night and everything was PHENOMENAL! Muah, Chef's Kiss!

The Pickled Herring offers an exceptional dining experience, serving tender pastrami and flavorful corned beef on rye. The pastrami burger is also highly recommended. Accompanying the meals are delicious sides, including coleslaw and kosher pickles. The restaurant is known for its Mushroom Barley soup, which is thick and flavorful. Onion Rings are also a popular side dish. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive servers. The Pickled Herring is a true authentic Jewish deli, offering huge and delicious hot pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. Their coleslaw is made in-house and is also delicious. They have seating but also a deli counter, and even offer whitefish salad, which can be hard to find elsewhere. The Matza ball soup is outstanding. The Pickled Herring is a great destination for a satisfying meal, transporting customers back to their childhood memories.
