Just attended a 2nd night Seder catered by The Pickled Herring. One dish was better than the next. I still can’t decide which is my favorite dish! I really liked the way they served the gefilte fish and chopped liver. The gefilte fish was cut up in pieces so you could have as much or as little as you wanted. And there was abundant horseradish!! the matzo ball soup was flavorful but not too salty and the matzo ball itself was light and fluffy and huge!!! It was the talk...
Just came here for the first time. We had Matzo ball,kin ish and pastrami. Potato pancakes and coleslaw . The best deli my family has had in years. The family that runs the restaurant are great people.
Good God. I drove 3 and a half hours for this and I'll do it again tomorrow if I can get out of bed. Corned Beef with a knish in place of the bread? The Only way this could have gotten better is if I'd ordered two big latkes and stuffed between those. If you put that on the menu, please call it 'Lucky's Latkes-on-Beef' Sandwich, I'd be proud to come back and have one every time I'm in town. What's the deal with the pickles? How do you make...
