Awesome spot, delicious food, great family owed spot. Perfect for a “different “ restaurant option. I bet everything on the menu many times and I regret none of them

Love the food here. Especially the noodle soup and chickpea tofu. So unique and authentic. You probably cannot find any other restaurant like this in this area.

Second time to try Burmese food. Love Palata (Indian bread with ground beef) and Burmese hot milk tea and will order again. Tried Kyae Oh (pig offal) and Burmese tea leaf salad - interesting but will try something else next time. Great service from the owner and very clean bathroom

Most of our food was rather bland, but maybe that’s how Burmese food is. I have nothing to compare this place to. There are just a few tables. It seems more suited for takeout.

Was excited to try this nearby, Burmese restaurant. Ordered 3 lunch specials right when it opened: Bait noodles, Mohinga, and beef curry. Beef curry tasted Indian influenced, and the rice that came with it was dry and old. Thought Mohinga would have fish meat but it was just noodles and broth; the crispy topping that came with it was unique. The Bait noodles were like Pad Thai but not nearly as tasty or sweet. Also got Faluda for dessert. Overall, the food was underwhelming. I wanted it to be a new go-to restaurant but I was very disappointed.

Not sure what the hype is but this was the second time trying this place (giving it another try) and the food was completely underwhelming and tasteless. The only tasty item on the menu was the beef curry. Everything else was too bland and/or too oily. We ordered the palata with chicken curry, seejet noodles, nanjee noodles. All came to $66.

Only way it could be better is seasonal/Limited Edition collaboration w/ restaurants in Hackensack or local ingredients

Great place to stop by after a day at GSP. Affordable prices and friendly customer service. They even gave us a free bag of chips for being a first time customer. Was so excited to try Burmese food for the first time. Will be back to try their curry ! Parking was easy as they have a lot shared with the other stores.

Been eyeing this place for while and decided to make a trip out for pickup. Never had Burmese prior to this and was very curious. Wow… it did not disappoint. Had the samosa, tofu salad, SeeJet noodles and Beef Curry.
Samosas - light, flaky, comfort. My daughter had most of it.
Tofu salad- light, citrus, but also umami, peanut paste(?), crisps for texture, delish
SeeJet noodles - subtle garlic, super tender duck shreds, addictive
Beef Curry - like a South Asian version of an earthy Bordelaise sauce (more Indian than Thai) with chunks of tender beef (like slow cooked short rib)
Unique , rich, subtle flavors which actually taste better at room temp when u come back for seconds.
Super friendly owner/staff (even for pickup).
Pro tip: don’t order via a delivery app. Just call and order directly if you are doing pickup. Saves everyone money. (That’s what they told me. 😆)
Can’t wait try to their other dishes next time.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long long time. Excellent food and the service was even better. Small family run place that does it perfectly. Highly recommend
