So sorry to report that this place has just closed after 60+ years in business. So sad to see this. I'm a fairly recent customer, being their customer for 30 years!

Remembered this pizzeria from my childhood and after moving back to the area couldnt wait to share with my family all the good food and memories. Well the first time we ordered it was fantastic! Just like I remembered it ! But since then we ordered at lunchtime and got our 6 in 1 hero’s with oil vinegar and get this mayonnaise? So disgusting? Couldn’t bear it. And now on a Monday night ordered pizza and hero’s again. The tomatoes in the sandwich were all the end pieces and the lettuce was brown. Gross. Wait and best yet one slice meat each and one slice of cheese. Really really super disappointed!!!!!!!how cheap and who’s in charge of kitchen at these times. ? Very inconsistent. Will never order from again!!!!!!!

Not great pizza. We just wanted to try a new place. Pizza is not flavorful though. Maybe sauce isn't seasoned. Taste like sauce out of the can that's it. Just bland, disappointing. Friendly staff. But on to the next pizza joint to try

We walked in the short chubby order taker was literally having a full blown out conversation with a customer that had nothing to do with FOOD...as we stand atleast 6 minutes waiting for him to ACKNOWLEDGE US..We turned to walked out! He then starts asking can I help you...we said nothing an exited..went to the pizza shop a few steps away..

They have the BEST meatball parm heroes. Meatballs are moist more meat than filler, mozz tasty. Best meatball parm I've had in quite some time.
My family has been buying eggplant pizza from Angelo's for more than 40 years and we have never been disappointed, that is until last night. The pizza tasted like it was an old readymade plain pie that had been warmed up after some eggplant had been put on it. I can't tell for sure if that is what we received, but I don't know if I would be happier if I learned that the pie had been made freshly, but it tasted like it was a warmed up readymade.

Moved to Maywood a few yrs ago and this is by far the best pizza! Great experience all around from the staff to the delivery and of course the pizza, which is always hot and a perfect classic NJ pizza!

We ordered a large large pizza pie today from Angelo’s it was horrible. Pizza was half baked and veggies are raw breaded chicken was not cooked, very little cheese.They charged 20+ dollars for this pizza pie. This was my first time so i wanted to let them know my feedback in phone and there was no proper response so writing this review. It was a total disappointment…

I been living in this area for a very long time and my family Eat from Angelo all the time ! I feel disgusted with the person that answer the phone her !! Gianna she is rude disrespectful and very nasty over the phone they need to teach her some customer service classes how to speak to customer over the phone ! Let start by saying I place and other to be picked up she tell me I can’t paid over the phone so I ask her if is deliver then you could charge me . Have no idea kept me on hold for a long time come back and tell me give the card number and do you want to add tip to the driver side when I told her I was having my son pick it up !! I told she was rude and nasty over the phone ! I hope call are recorded !!

First and last time I'll order from here. Ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra pepperon. After waiting awhile for it to arrive, we noticed there were parts of the pizza that didn't even have ANY pepperoni on it. Definitely not any extra pepperoni. On top of this the pizza was cool, definitely not warm. I called Angelo's and was told they could exchange my pizza for a new pizza but no refund or compensation. I had to call Slice in order to try and get some compensation. We ended up having to give the pizza delivery guy the old pizza and he gave us a new one. Just a really bad experience and horrible customer service.
