“Visited Ruchi on the way home from the Jersey shore with my family and was pleasantly surprised. We arrived very close to kitchen close (we called ahead to ensure that we could eat at this time) and Desmond and the other staff were incredibly kind and understanding making sure our food would be served hot upon our arrival. The food was spectacular, my parents both ordered onion masala dosas (pictured) as well as the gobi manciurian and I ordered the chicken dosa combo which was way more than I could handle but delicious as ever. Delicious food, fantastic staff, approved by my family and I!”

From the start we loved their food and have loved eating our way through the menu, trying new dishes each visit. In the past 1 1/2 months, we've visited them close to 2 dozen times and never had a bad meal, and have never been disappointed. I've also found the space to be incredibly LGBTQIA+ friendly whether it be fellow customers or staff, the space is always a blast to be in.”

“All the hallmarks of an iconic BBQ joint! A massive wood-fired grill has been filling the air with incredible smoky aromas for more than 20 years, and you can taste that experience in every bite.

The menu is small and carefully curated, which tells you they’ve truly perfected their craft instead of trying to do everything. The hospitality was just as impressive as the food. The staff was incredibly kind to my kids, even treating them to ice pops, and their BBQ sauce was so amazing that when I complimented the owner, he gladly brought us some extra.

As a BBQ guy myself, I really appreciated the deep, rich flavors and the care that went into every dish. The owner and staff were generous, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.
