I was there recently with a group of friends. We ordered mozzarella sticks and cheese fries. It took an hour and 20 mins to get our food. The little buzzer they give you never went off. We had to keep going up to see what was going on. The young kid who was working the snack shack was less then enthusiastic, that’s for sure. I took my husband here on Friday for his first flight lesson. Wow, what an amazing experience he had. I enjoyed the pool and the bar while he was in flight. I heard the bands on the weekends are a lot of fun. It is extremely sad that the owners chose to form an LLC and turn this beautiful property into affordable housing units and townhomes. I came here back in the 80's with my parents. A lot of history and memories will be lost when this facility closes.
