I recently visited this coffee shop, and I have to say, they’ve really been stepping up their game lately. It’s clear they’ve been putting a lot of effort into training their staff, and it shows! The main barista girls (blonde & brunette/balayage) are especially amazing—always friendly, efficient, and consistently making delicious drinks.
I tried the Chia Protein Sport & Breakfast Smoothie with almond milk (their new almond milk is so good), Iced Vanilla Latte, Iced Matcha, and an Iced Chai and it was fantastic! I know they change up their milk options from time to time, but they always manage to keep the quality high and the flavors spot on.
While I was there, I did notice a regular customer who tends to complain about his smoothies and ask for redos, even though the staff consistently does a great job. It’s crazy how some people can be so unreasonable, especially when the team clearly works hard to provide great service.
I really appreciate supporting small businesses like this one, especially when they continuously improve. Adding Nina Lou pastries was a great move, too—they’re a delicious complement to the drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

I genuinely want to support this small local coffee shop, as I believe in the importance of community businesses. However, I find it increasingly difficult due to the consistently poor service and mediocre quality of the coffee and drinks. On several occasions, I have waited nearly 10 minutes for just two simple coffees, despite being the only customer in the shop at the time.
One barista, in particular, stands out for her disorganization. She often appears confused and will suddenly stop making my drink to attend to something unrelated, such as chatting with a colleague or rearranging items behind the counter. This frequently leaves me standing there, waiting in frustration. When I shared my concerns, I was told to only come in when someone else is working if I was not satisfied. This is not the proper way to address a customers concerns.
While I appreciate the charm of a local coffee shop, the time and irritation I experience here make it hard to justify returning when I can easily find the same drinks at other cafés that serve them in a much quicker and more efficient manner. I sincerely hope they can improve their service for the sake of their loyal customers.

Words cannot describe my love for this place. The baristas are some of the most friendly people I have ever met. Everyday I come, I’m guaranteed to leave with a smile. I believe her name is Deandrah Lee, but she always goes out of her way to make sure I have the lightest, foamiest, and upmost tasty cappuccino I’ve had! The prices are also cheaper than Starbucks! Who doesn't want a higher quality product for less!!

Simple Coffee in Mendham is a must-visit! I recently met Father Michael of Delbarton there with my friend Todd, and Olivia, the owner, made the experience truly special. She went above and beyond by bringing balloons in Delbarton School's green color and setting everything up beautifully. The coffee here is exceptional—rich, smooth, and far superior to anything you'd get at the usual chains like Starbucks or Dunkin'.
If you're in Mendham, skip the big chains and support this fantastic small business instead. Olivia and her staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Simple Coffee offers not just a great cup of coffee, but a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Adorable little coffee shop that we stumbled upon before our kids soccer game. Loved the coffee of the month flavor and all of the other flavors sounded amazing. The croissant was not flakey so I would skip that.
Loved the coffee and soo many options. We had two toddlers with us and while im guessing it was unusually quiet due to a holiday they were fine there and liked sitting at the high top looking out the window.
