I've never been to a place like this - a place that perfectly captures the vibe of sitting on your friend's porch with a beer. The brews are tasty - my Mexican lager went down smoother than any beer I've ever had. The atmosphere is awesome, with very attentive, kind, memorable, and friendly staff, the regulars are all great folks, and the outdoor seating right in the heart of comfy and quiet Merchantville is a perfect venue to sit and sip.
I'm playing to my tastes, but my judgement of the beers are based on what I like; in this beer room it's the EPA IPA, Citra IPA and Russian imperial, which were all really good. Some of the lighter and fruity beers, which are usually outside on my wheelhouse anyway, I found a little lacking, but the people I was with liked those. Most of the heavier beers we're really enjoyable. Oh, and thier shandy was surprisingly good too... I say surprisingly because I don't...
Small, but mighty!!! What a wonderful pillar of the community. Awesome brews, even more awesome staff. They do super cool events partnering with other local orgs and create such a welcoming and fun environment. 5 stars all around.
