**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Bagel Pantry – Metuchen, NJ**
Fantastic spot for breakfast right in the heart of Metuchen! One of the few places in town with actual parking — a huge plus. The bagels were fresh, perfectly toasted, and paired so well with the jalapeño cream cheese. I also tried the blueberry cupcakes, and they were delicious!
The service was top-notch — lots of staff helping out, and billing was super quick. The place has a nice vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Coffee could be a bit better, but overall, the prices were reasonable and the experience was great. Definitely a go-to breakfast spot in Metuchen!

This place really took a turn for the worse. Their selection of meats (bacon, pork roll, sausage) is the worst I’ve had in Jersey. I understand they serve halal meat and their reasoning for supplying it BUT ATLEAST ADVERTISE IT BEFORE SERVING IT! The meat is horrible, do not order.

I have been coming here for years and have I have enjoyed the taste of the the bagels but on my last visit here noticed that the price was raised to $1.50 per bagel which seems a little high but let me tell you that the Everything bagel which I ate untoasted with butter was one of the top ten bagels I have ever eaten. I then toasted a sesame bagel the following morning and that bagel was also one of the best I have ever tasted. I am 60 years old from Staten Island originally and these bagels are tremendous. I don't know if they recently changed the baker of their bagels but I recommend trying these bagels.

Amazing bagels... service is kool. ultimately it's a nice low key deli with really great bagels. I like coming here and would suggest it to others who aren't familiar with the area.. I dare to say they have the best bagels in town..but they have other stuff too that's not too shabby either. It can get packed on weekends and early mornings, so clearly they're doing something right! Inside is low key seedy but I doubt people go there for the ambiance.

Got a SKIMPY bacon, egg & cheese on an everything bagel and it was BAD…..
Bagel was good but do not order pork roll here. I do not know what the meat was but it's not pork roll/Taylor ham. It was the worst meat I ever tasted like spiced bologna. Crumb cake was fantastic

Im very unsettled with my last visit to bagel pantry of Metuchen. my friend, and I have been coming to this breakfast place almost every morning for the past 2 and a half weeks for breakfast. My family also has been coming here since I was young. They have definitely lost some customers today, as this morning was our last time coming here.. As we walked in one of the men that work here, “I’m not sure of his name” he is bald, came out from behind the kitchen, and said very loudly that we did not pay for our meal the last time we came, I tried to tell him we did, and he proceeded to make everyone in the shop hear what he was saying, I then showed him my bank transaction, and he only belived us after showing him that. It was a very upsetting, and unprofessional the way he handled this misunderstanding.. BTW, they make you pay after eating, so for future transactions, maybe they should just charge before, if they have a hard time seeing if someone pays, so there is no more of these experiences in the future. I’m very upset by this, and they should not make a loyal customer feel such a way.

Everything bagel toasted with cream cheese was really good. Tastes like NYC! The bacon egg and cheese bagel was okay. It was a little burnt on the outside. Fast service and fair prices.
