I have been there a couple of times, but today the food is like used to be. Food feels re heated. I did order the Spanish fries and it was cold, normally serves you nice and warm. Portuguese chorizo it was dry and tough to eat. Pork meat it was dry also.Admosphere not so good experience. Food is not the same

I stopped in tonight while my son was at soccer training at the Sportsplex. We had a 50 minute ride home but decided to bring dinner home for the family. When I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and after a minute of trying to decide, the friendly owner suggested I order the #4 family combo and I’m so happy I did! The meal ended up feeding 2 adults and 2 tweens (with BIG appetites)! The chicken and ribs were delicious. The fries and rice were perfect. The shrimp appetizer was amazing! I was dipping everything in that sauce! I was hoping there would be leftovers for lunch tomorrow but we all couldn’t stop eating and we finished the entire meal!
Can’t wait to return!

I’m a returning customer here, and usually love their food. But the last time I came in and got take out, they gave me food that was old and reheated. For the price I’m paying, what I got was shocking. The pork ribs and chicken I got were so dry and clearly not fresh. I was willing to wait a longer time for fresher food - the 15 minute wait should have been suspicious

Absolutely delicious!! Everything we had was fresh and insanely flavorful. You can tell the pork is marinated and slow roasted and steak was cooked to perfection. Meals big enough to share or take home for the next day! Certainly will be returning

First time here I called in my order and the person that answered was so patient, once I go there my food was just being prepared for me to grab pay also there chicken empanadas very good. Manny was such a sweet guy

One of the best salmon dishes i’ve ever had outside of my own kitchen. Portion size was massive. The quality of the food was amazing, this could easily have been a meal at a very expensive restaurant but it still retained a home-cooked feeling. I was the only customer in the place dining-in, and there was a bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it, and was a sign that everything is made to order. Will be definitely back next time I’m in Metuchen

This place came recommended for Portuguese food, but unfortunately, it didn’t fully meet expectations. The beef empanadas, Brazilian bread, garlic shrimp, calamari and garlic chicken were good, and the Serradura dessert was a standout. However, the fire sausage was overcooked, the beef ribs were tough, and the Picadinhos were disappointing with chewy beef and pork. Overall, some hits but too many misses.
