This was our first visit in about 20 years due to our children aging out. Today we took our grandchild who loved everything about the place - the food, the monster mash sundae, the activity pack and our waitress. Will definitely come again as we enjoyed our Senior meals. Just the right amount of food.

The Reece's Pieces Sundae, available in two sizes: medium and large. The difference is less or more scoops. I went for medium. Even at this size, I got a tall cup of sundae, which seemed to be several scoops with fudge syrup and Reece's Pieces and whip and one cherry.
More nostalgia, not many Friendly's shops around NJ / NY.

We’ve given this Friendly’s location more than one chance, and unfortunately, the service continues to disappoint. Tonight was my daughter’s birthday, and she had her heart set on coming here. We walked in at 8:00pm — well before their posted closing time of 9:00pm — only to be told the dining area was already closed. This isn’t the first time we’ve had issues. On a previous visit, we were served dinner but then told we couldn’t order dessert in-house and were given to-go cups instead even though we were well ahead of close time.
If you’re going to post hours, honor them. And if you advertise a family-friendly experience, don’t rush families out or make them feel like an inconvenience. This place has consistently failed to deliver the Friendly’s experience we used to know and love. Very disappointing.

This place needs to be shut down..or completely renovated..new staff who take pride in what they do and food and prices need to be upgraded or adjusted..when I first got there..the girl who greeted us told us the bathroom was out of order there was a plumbing/pipe situation..we agreed to stay i had been wanting Friendlys for a while..but of course the first thing a person does on a long drive from new york to new jersey is use the restroom before and/or after..but we dealt with it..it took soooooo long for someone to come and ask us for our drinks and appetizers there are 4 people working 2 waiters a cook and the girl behind the counter..there were about 4 tables of people who were already seated and eating..so it wasn't busy at all..after we placed our drinks and appetizers the guy who waited us asked us if we wanted to place our food as well..I ordered mozzarella sticks as a app that was fine..boneless chicken wings 5 puny little chickens for 10 something and doesn't come with fries..chicken quesadilla with fries..he put it as a appetizer instead of an entree..so my quesadilla came without peppers and no fries..i couldnt get ahold of the waiter to correct him of my order because he was too busy chatting it up with other 2 behind the counter at this point about 5 to 6 more tables filled up.. 2 father's and theirs son walk in another 2 people another 6 people joined the father and sons (baseball league) and another 6 people are being seated ..finally after getting the guys attention I told him about the quesadilla..I had to place 2 orders of fries to accompany the meals..when the plate of fries comes I was in shocked of how little they serve.. 2 of those plates of fries feeds one person..i ordered a side of Mac want I got was dry boxed Kraft Mac and cheese from the kids menu instead of the regular mac and cheese..I was like what is going on..people were leaving cause they weren't being attended to..the orders were wrong..the waiters were constantly being called by other people from different tables and the food could have been way better..after all said and done..the waiter made a adjustment on my recipe..but 50 something dollars for the little amount of food we got was insane..I dont care how much I pay when I go out and get food..but I was better off going to apple bees 2 for 25 with an appetizer and you have food left over for the next day or mc donalds 5 dollar meals with fries a burger nuggets and a soda you get full of that..Sorry to say but that was definitely my last visit..hate to see the bussiness fall but honestly the only thing holding it up is the ice cream..Very disappointed and hope things do improve

This is the second time I get a salad from them I ordered it thru door dash no salad dressing. I called and when I asked for the manager I told her my issue then she proceeded to hang up the phone. I called many times and they never answered the phone what kind of customer service is this.

The server and the whole team was great and even the restaurant itself was great. The food on the other hand was abosluetely horrendous. I got the boneless wings and i thought I had ordered garlic parm sauce but they ended up giving me some battery acid flavored nuggets. Mac n' Cheese too, I thought you really can't mess up mac n' cheese but they seemed to forget the cheese and made Mac n' Water instead. It was very watery and salty. Icecream was good tho.

I hope the owner or manager takes this seriously and updates the business hours accurately to avoid wasting people’s time and effort.

Wow has Friendlys gone down hill as the prices go way up. Server got our orders wrong 3 times, even seemed to lose the paper she wrote them on and came back to ask us to remind her! Even the ice cream creations were subpar.

Nothing more nostalgic than having a classic American hamburger from Friendlys and their iconic ice cream. Great classic diner vibes and the food is consistently good, just like before. Above all else, it’s the service and atmosphere that makes this location great. Huge shout out to Sara, who was the most friendly and patient server who made our visit exceptional!
