The ONLY reason I gave this place 2 stars is because I didn't want my comments to be written off, as 1 star reviews often are. So I had planned a trip into Metuchen with my dog to go to a specific pet store, for lunch I went on Slice to order because Joey Ds shares a parking lot. It said 25-35 so I went for a spin with the dog, came back at 30 minutes to check on the status. The team had no idea about my order, kept saying I called the wrong place even though I said it was through an online app. "call again! We'll see if you called" like patronizing me when I kept saying it was online. They all just kept yelling about me calling the wrong place even though I'm literally showing them the confirmation. Finally one guy looks at the printer and there's my order. Which, when he was confirming was yelling at me to confirm with my phone (dude it's 4 items, I know what I got) The main guy looked at it and said "give me 15 minutes boss". No apologies no "our bad" but it was working at least. Went inside to buy a drink, the inside is the owners office, apparently so he was on the phone, TV was basting, employees were laughing and carrying on. It was so chaotic and unwelcoming. My drink was so old that the carbonation was totally gone even though the safety ring was on. Food came out and I wished they took the full 35 minutes. Fries and rice balls were soggy greasy and cold. The pizza was decent but was no where close to enough to salvage any part of that experience. Avoid unless under duress or extreme hunger.

The pizza wasn’t too bad for a plain cheese slice. The mozzarella sticks weren’t that appetizing either. I think they’re overpriced for the quality. I had also called in my food 20 minutes before and it wasn’t ready for another 15 after arriving a few after the time they told me to come
I would DIE for the eggplant Stromboli. It's so good, I can't resist it. On a dinner night in which I can't decide on what to do, this is good. Keep it UP!
