surprised to see the low ratings, the food is pretty good and ambiance is vibrant yet nice & low key. I’m afraid the people complaining about operating fees and mandatory tip don’t read the news about how difficult it has become to operate a restaurant business during these times - it’s either drive up the cost of the menu or add in a fee (either way you’re going to get an up charge because this is the state of the economy)

I had the tacos and the food was great! The chocolate caramel dessert was super delicious! The service was absolutely superb, our server, Daniel was excellent. Definitely will go again. Nice environment, if you haven’t gone, you definitely need to go!

We loved this place! The atmosphere and service charmed us from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious. He had the steak fajitas and I had lobster empanadas. We also enjoyed a side guacamole , black bean soup, sangria, pino colada( virgin) and dessert gelato. We needed a take home box because the portions were generous. I would definitely come again!

We stopped at the place Nextdoor because it had good reviews but the food is totally trash compared to Mariachi. SO GOOD HERE!!! Highly recommended to anyone that appreciates authentic Mexican food. ❤️??

I don't know where to start... I ate here by myself for a quick dinner. I ordered the shrimp quesidillas and another shrimp dish which came with rice and beans. The shrimp in the quesidillas were under seasoned and spongy but that's not what my issue was with my bill. The issue was the lack of notification about the side of onions I ordered. It was 2 tablespoons of minced onions-- tablespoons. Along with additional charges of the fiery salsa. The only notification I saw about additional charges for salsa were if i ordered additional chips and salsa on top of the complimentary, an additional $5 would've been applied. However, that was not the case. This restaurant is a joke. I have never eaten at a restaurant where you had to pay for onions and salsa to add flavor in their food.
A word of advice for the manager, post a sign stating you will charge customers for condiments because your food lacks flavor.

without a doubt the best place in Metuchen to have lunch or dinner, beautiful, delicious, good service, good musical atmosphere and everything is good in this restaurant you have to give it a chance, the price is the same as in all the restaurants in Metuchen but if you I really like the good things, this restaurant has it all. I have visited it several times and one of my favorite dishes is the ceviche tostadas and the quesabirrias omg everything is delicious. COME!!!!!!!!!!!cheer up!!!!!no you will regret it!!!!!!I PROMISE!!!!
