Food is by far the best I’ve had in the area, you get complex flavors, fresh foods, amazing clash of textures, good portions all for a quite cheap price compared to all the big restaurant chains that charge more for worse, Food arrives quick and hot and service is great. No complain. Still skeptical? Just come here and buy something for yourself, a small expense for a meal worthy of critical acclaim.

Overall good experience! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Aesthetic is very instagram friendly with backdrop ready furniture and fixtures. Location is great easy to access with street parking and a parking lot across the street. The food is probably the weakest part for me personally. Was looking for something a bit more flavorful but if that's not your vibe this place is for you. Overall an insta/tiktok vibe with great staff but not a foodie haven.

We were seated immediately as it wasn’t crowded. We ordered wings, sliders, chicken and waffles and a creamsicle float. The float and the single beef slider and fries came out first. Followed by the Korean wings and chicken sliders and lastly chicken and waffles. The food took a while to come out. Everything was delicious with the exception of both chicken wings from the 2 orders we had were undercooked and pink inside. They had to make a fresh order which took a while so we ended up taking it to go. Several guests were waiting for their food. There were items that weren’t on the qr menu that other guests had like pancakes and French toast we would’ve ordered had we have known so make sure to check their website for other dishes so you don’t miss out. All in all regardless of the long wait the staff was very pleasant and nice. My teen wants to go now so I’ll be back to take her. Byob.

Met a friend for lunch at Parkside Eats based on internet reviews. I'm so glad we did! Their menu is eclectic and interesting. These folks obviously love to experiment with flavors, and the results have produced a menu of so many tantalizing items, it was hard to decide what to order.I settled on the Korean Fire Sliders. Delicious! They were cooked perfectly, had a flavorful, mildly spicy BBQ sauce, were topped with kimchi, and were served with seasoned waffle fries. I also tried the Ube float, which I definitely recommend.The experience at Parkside Eats is as good as the food. Our server, George, was attentive and friendly. We also met the owner (Ryan?), who obviously loves what he does (and he does it well!)Definitely looking forward to returning to this lovely spot again to try more from the menu. Thanks for the great time, guys!

I've had my eye on Parkside Eats for some time now. Nestled away from the hubbub of main st Metuchen, you could easily miss this gem but I encourage you to check them out. My partner and I went on a Tuesday afternoon so it was quiet which was nice. The guy who was there was friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The inside decor is welcoming and stylish. It is so hard to choose when dining here because everything sounds so delicious on the menu. I ordered the Ube float which ended up being my favorite part of the meal! It was so tasty and the presentation is beautiful, definitely IG worthy. We also ordered the fried cheese and "old clothes" empanadas for appetizers. I believe the fried cheese was queso de frier (halloumi) but I'm not 100%, it was a nice break from the traditional mozzarella sticks and the tangy pink sauce was a nice touch. The empanada was tasty and the filling tasted like a traditional ropa veija but it was a bit drier than I would have liked. It did come with a nice sauce for dipping so this wasn't a deal breaker.For my meal I ordered the guava chili chicken sliders, which were the perfect combo of savory and sweet. It came with two sliders and a generous portion of waffle fries... the waffle fries are on POINT. They are seasoned to perfection and nice and crisp. My husband ordered the Hawaiian Riz sliders and enjoyed his meal as well.Overall we had a great experience. I will definitely return as I NEED to try the Ube French Toast next!
