Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Holy smokes. This pastry shop is the real deal. I came in yesterday to get some treats for my little one after getting bloodwork, and it was just what we needed to sweeten the mood after a not so fun event. 3 generations, me, my mom and daughter all got to experience the somehow moist AND crunchy almond croissant and the buttery, delicious cheese danish. It truly made our day extra special. I will definitely be back. My latte was also perfection, and something a mom to a toddler...

This bakery is as good as it gets. I ordered cakes for a birthday celebration. Women, men, and children asked me where the cakes are from. Pastry Lu is full of decadent desserts. The flavors in each bite and layer are incredible. Each bite is like a party in your mouth!!! I ordered the chocolate cake, vanilla chocolate maple banana walnut cake, pineapple carrot cake. They were absolutely delicious. They are all full of flavor, yet not too sweet.THE BEST CAKES I HAVE EVER HAD!
