In the quaint town of Metuchen, if you don't know it's there, you'd pass it. My wife had General T'so's shrimp with brown rice, and my daughter had shrimp lo-mein, while I had Kung Pao chicken with fried rice. Additionally, we had some deliciously sautéed bok choy with brown rice. I believe it's a byob, as spirits aren't available. Light and delicious food, we'll be coming back.

Me and my husband always love to visit new places for lunch and based on the reviews, we decided to try Pink Lotus. So firstly- it has so many vegetarian options which is rare to find in Chinese/ Asian restaurants. We tried their tofu thai basil and Oh my God!! It was heavenly- the char on tofu and vegetables was just delicious!! We also tried Sechuan tofu and veg spring roll and they were also amazing. The customer service was definitely an icing on the cake, we were greeted very warmly by this lady and she was very friendly with us. Our overall experience was just great!! Definitely a must try if you're in the area and want to have Asian cuisine

If your looking for authentic Chinese! Look no more! Family ran and the owners are the nicest. Not like other Chinese restaurants that serve more vegetables than a protein, they serve you what you want! Mongolian beef was incredibly good and the portion was great. MUST CHECK IT OUT!

I tried this place out yesterday and I loved it!! Their meat is so tender and flavorful!Everything I got and tried were great! There are listed starting with my favorites-BONELESS SPARE RIBS- I normally find this dish to be lackluster... but wow! It was amazing! So tender, sweet, and salty. I think it had some cinnamon on it. It was a thick and saucy sauce! I would make this into a meal instead of an appetizer next time.CRAB RANGOON - to die for! Creamy and crispy.GENERAL TAO'S CHICKEN- great quality meat with a bit of a kick.STEAMED PORK DUMPLINGS- they were tender with a delicious sweet and salty sauce.PEPPER STEAK- meat cooked to perfection but the peppers where on the crispy sideEGG ROLL- crunchy and yummy!PORK FRIED RICE- it is worth noting that it has scrambled eggs in it. So good!It is nice that the lunch menu applies to the weekends as well till 4 pm.We will be back!Parking: There is parking on the street and a parking lot in the back of the shops that you need to pay for parking, which stinks. I recommend ordering over the phone and having someone in the car with you who can pick it up while you wait.
