The vegan takeout here was honestly terrible. The food was bland, poorly seasoned, and arrived cold. The textures were off and everything tasted like it had been sitting for a long time. Definitely not worth the price and I wouldn’t order again. I ordered the nachos and oyster mushrooms. Definitely not worth it.

I got takeout meals while on a roadtrip going down the NJ Turnpike. I had heard there was a great little vegan cafe in Metuchen, and it did not disappoint! From the kind person at the front who gave me several glasses of water while I was waiting to the shockingly delicious dishes for 3 of us, I will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Everyone please support this establishment. There are very few restaurants offering such a creative and delicious menu these days. I love this restaurant so much! This place is a great find in New Jersey. The menu is thoughtful, creative and the food is very flavorful. Do not miss the banana dessert! Order the dessert early because it takes 30 minutes to make. With the ice cream on top and the chocolate chips it’s quite fantastic.

We stopped by for a quick bite and loved the fried oyster mushrooms with sweet chili dipping sauce, also gf. The whipped coffee was tasty and fun. The mains sounded great too!
My recent dining experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing. Near the conclusion of our meal but I still had a significant portion of food remaining and was actively eating, my friend and I were asked to collect our plates, glasses, and silverware and relocate to a smaller table to accommodate an incoming party. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, and we were told we could sit wherever we preferred. I should add there was a non-Black couple seated at another four-person table but was not asked to move after we declined to be inconvenienced.
My friend directly asked our server whether he would have asked that couple to relocate, and he responded with, “no.” The fact that only the two Black women in the dining room were asked to move was both inequitable and deeply concerning.
If a table is not prepared for a new party, the appropriate course of action is to wait rather than disrupt guests who are still dining. The manner in which this situation was handled was unprofessional, disheartening, and left a lasting negative impression. I will not be returning
