The employees need training on how to say good morning, thank you, and just basic manners. No one wants to have rude service early in the morning. Terrible service!

Worst Starbucks ever waited 15 minutes for a strawberry lemonade. They only acknowledge mobile orders and drive thru. Bad attitudes. They don't smile. Just pick a different one. You obviously need to hire new staff look at your reviews they are mostly bad.

Staff here can be short and give a gen z stare, but the coffee is made to policy and they've never been rude. The cons are the location, parking, and internal space. It's a work from home haven for metuchen/Edison. If you want to sit for a minute on a late break from work, you'll be competing with the fully settled WFH crowd, if and only if you are lucky enough to park. You probably won't find a seat.

Awful customer service. A handful of polite works but most are terrible. You get an attitude from the moment you order and then you are expected to tip on the credit card reader? A tip is earned, it’s not a requirement. This coming from someone in the service industry for 15+ years.

Man, I thought the Starbucks on centennial was slow.. but my goodness. I’ve never seen a slower moving drive through in my life. I came at 1:10 on a Monday. I’ve been waiting for over 20 minutes and there’s still two cars in front of me. It’s actually insane. How could it possibly take this long to make these orders?!

I wanted to order a matcha but instead I ordered something else, I ordered a caffe mocha. After I had a few sips out of it , I told the girl that assisted me about my mistake and she said “ let me talk to my supervisor” She then made the Hot Matcha that I wanted at no cost to me. She didn’t make me feel bad for my mistake .

Like many customers, I’m writing to share how disappointing our recent visits to this Starbucks have been. The service has consistently been slow and unprofessional, and both my wife and I have experienced poor attitudes even on very simple orders. Mobile ordering has also been unreliable—working only about half the time.

At this point, we won’t be returning to this location and will be taking our business to local spots instead, like Cai’s Coffee in downtown Metuchen.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Most of the staff is rude and mobile orders take a long time to make. If you order multiple drinks the order isn’t made together, so one drink will be completed and your second make take an extra 10 minutes.
At times, I’ve walked in and they’ve been out of espresso, so I walked out.
I’ve also been asked to prove my mobile pickup order was ordered at that store when asking for a pup cup for my dog. Are you kidding me? How insulting is that? To be asked to prove the coffee in your hand is from that store to get a tiny cup of whipped cream for a dog?
Today I waited over 23 minutes for a simple mobile order, and was met with attitude when I asked for a third time if they would actually make my order. I ended up walking out without getting my coffees, so will have to call my credit card company to get refunded.
Never going back to this store despite it being a short walk from my house. This store has needed a refresher in customer service training for months.
