I went there to grab a bite. I parked in the lot behind the restaurant in a sushi Suzuki spot when a Chinese man smoking a cigarette told me to leave the spot before I get towed. I told him I was going to the sushi restaurant to eat. After yelling he stormed inside the restaurant. I did not go there to eat and I won’t be going back. I have been there a dozen times after this incident I won’t suggest anyone to even go there. I got yelled at and threatened to have my car towed because I parked in the restaurant that I was going to spot.

However, the low meditation-style music in the background made it hard to enjoy our meal — I could barely have a conversation because I could hear every word from the nearby tables. A slightly more upbeat background playlist would really enhance the overall dining experience.

For years, this was my favorite local sushi place. However, the service has gone downhill. The last several visits, the server is not friendly at all. I figured after the 3rd same type of visit, I'd write a review. While the restaurant atmosphere or decor is nice, it's just not friendly anymore. The sushi is pretty good, the other food options are decent. What annoyed me each of these last few times is after they serve your food, they never check back to see if you need anything. Additionally, my daughter ordered an entrée on the menu - a bento box- that clearly said it comes with soup AND salad. The server insisted it was OR. When my daughter told her to eliminate the dumpling from the order, she said she'd bring both, then didn't. When we reminded her, she said no - only one or the other. By the way, their lunch specials used to come with soup and salad. They phased that out on the 2 or 3 sushi rolls in the past couple of years, but the bento box listed for both. It's so unfriendly that I'm not inclined to go back and sad about what it is now vs what it used to be.

Kani salad and California roll were not good. California roll barely had crab in it. Food doesn’t taste fresh. Spicy mayo tastes watered down. Chicken fried rice tastes good but made my stomach hurt.
