You can't go wrong with Suzuki. The sushi is always on point and my wife loves their Beef Negamaki! We do a lot of take out from there and the food quality is great as take out so I can only imagine how great it would be if we had time to dine in. Even though we haven't had time to dine in (we plan to in the near future) when I pick up our order the atmosphere in the restaurant is always so inviting. We will continue to order from this great restaurant and their staff is awesome!

Just okay. Philly roll was more like 90% cucumbers, 5% fish and 5% cream cheese. I actually couldn't taste the cream cheese because there was so little.

I normally don't write much of reviews, but this one is a huge disappointment for me. When we walked in to the restaurant, we saw a staff was picking his nails. That's the first impression for this time since I haven't been there for over 3 yrs. I remembered this place was always busy with dine-in and take out, but not this time. Food here now is way crappy and cheap comparing to 3 years ago. Poor quality, not authentic Japanese. This is a low cost sushi! What a scam! Shirmp Tempura Appetizer???? 2 real shrimps and the rest are veggie for $8.50, I ordered through yelp, they charged me$9.00 for the tempura. So, I ordered shrimp tempura not veggie tempura. On top of that Sushi are not fresh at all. Coconut curry packed with udon, 3-4 pieces of baby bokchoi and chicken. They all were already mixed together with curry soup. I just expected them to separate udon and curry. Probably, too high expectation I guess. Highly NOT recommend this place to anyone I know and will NOT come back for good!

delicious, fresh, full rolls. hibachi rice is very yummy too. i wasn’t expecting shrimp in the chicken hibachi but thankfully we don’t have any allergies. i come in often for the great lunch deal. wish they were open on mondays!Parking: minimal parking in lot behind with entrance into the rear of restaurant along with minimal paid street parking
A gem in the neighborhood. A friend brought me here years ago and the fish specials are a must have. Super fresh fish and a decent value for Metuchen also it's BYOB.
My favorite sushi place! I come here all the time with my family. A great quiet ambient place to grab a great meal. Staff are so friendly. Tokyo Rolls and Pork gyoza are incredible and a must try. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect go-to place with friends, family, work lunch break. Service is fast and consistent. Location is in the heart of downtown Metuchen so street parking only. Food is always fresh and made to order. You can eat in or order and pickup which a lot of people do. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Sushi is excellent and even other options such as soup, teriyaki, salad never disappoints. Definitely a place to try if your craving a variety of Asian fare.
