Everything from Torino is absolutely perfect. I have been a total of 3 times and cannot wait to be back. I highly recommend the chicken Marsala and wagyu steak but recommend everything as the other items are just as delicious. The lobster bisque was sublime along with the calamari and Brussel sprouts. The best part is I don’t even like brussel sprouts.
The chef himself delivered the entrees to all the tables and honestly I wanted to hug him.

Poor experience. $4.00 charge for extra bread (comes out to about $1.00 per slice). One of our two ordered entrees was never entered and when I pointed out the mistake, it took an additional 25 minutes for it to come out. It came out cold. No apology. Had to ask for water to be refilled. Will not be returning, very disappointing.

My wife and I ate here on Saturday evening and I have to say I was very disappointed. Our friends who came with us had eaten here several times previously and had raved about it. I won't be going back. For some reason, they will not put in your appetizer order until you order your main meal. Then, they apparently gave 2 of our meals (including mine) to someone else, but delivered the other two. When they told us that it would be a few minutes for them to remake the two that were missing, we asked them to take the delivered meals back and keep them warm, which they did. When they finally delivered all four meals, mine was incorrect. I had ordered the bucatini with red pepper sauce, which I was told was quite spicy. What I received was basically a sauce that resembled (and tasted like) Campbell's tomato soup. No spice, very bland. I asked for grated cheese - twice - which never came. We asked for extra bread and was told there would be a $4 service charge. No comp for their screwup with the meals and a minimal apology from the server. My friends were very disappointed as well. Don't waste your time and money here when there are so many other good Italian restaurants around.

Great service and food was excellent
Torino is my and my husband’s favorite restaurant. Our wedding anniversary landed on a Tuesday this year and we waited until the next day to celebrate at Torino. They have the most amazing tasty food! The pasta is made fresh daily. My husband always gets the chicken Alfredo fettuccine. I love to try something new every time we go as well as enjoy our classic favorites. The specials are always spectacular. All of the appetizers are amazing - I can’t choose just one favorite! Finally the service is fantastic-definitely highly recommended!

Chris was our waiter this afternoon. He was one of the best waiters I’ve ever had throughout all the places I’ve traveled. The food was wonderful as usual. The environment was so comfortable that my mother and I had a Lovely conversation. Looking forward to coming back! Thank You to Chris and the rest of the staff for another memorable meal.

Just left this place; and what a disappointing experience, service is mediocre and the food quality as well. My son got the tuscany chicken and was under cooked; not to mentioned the flavor was totally lacking; this place call themselves italian pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! don’t waste your time or money avoid this place at all costs; listen to me please ! I order the fish special and 3 pieces of shrimp ? badly cooked is what they call special??????? and not to mentioned the tacky way to bring your bill to the tables it totally kills the mood! my waiter was lucky he was there so i left him 18% i felt bad for the guy ???
The service and ambiance was amazing. The food is mediocre at best. The calamari appetizer was tasty and tender. I didn’t enjoy the shrimp scampi at all, however my family enjoyed their meals. Because my food wasn’t good I’d say my meal was overpriced for what I received. I’m not sure if I’ll visit again.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Torino Restaurant! I ordered the Alfredo Fettuccine, Rigatoni with Creamy Pesto, and an Orange Pellegrino. Every dish was prepared to perfection—the Alfredo Fettuccine was rich and creamy, while the Rigatoni with Pesto had the perfect balance of flavors. The Orange Pellegrino was the ideal refreshing accompaniment.
The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. I highly recommend Torino Restaurant and can’t wait to return!

SAT 8/10/24_I've been to Torino 2 in Metuchen many times but it's been about a year since my last visit. This time it was for a birthday dinner with my husband and best friend from high school. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, and everything from the appetizer through the entrees was great. My disappointment came after the check arrived and our server came to process payment. Before she handed me the point of sale device to sign, I announced to her that we were giving her $30 cash as a tip (it was visible in my hand). She made a comment that there is some kind of legislation coming where tips will no longer be taxed. Then she presented me the point of sale device to sign. I signed inside the box on the screen and I gave her the $30 cash tip, and in less than a minute after she left our table, my cell phone alerted me to the credit card charge that was processed - it was the check amount PLUS $30.
When she walked by again, I caught her attention and I mentioned this. She looked surprised at me, and said that I would have had to indicate the tip on the device.
I then asked her to return the $30 in cash back to me (which she did). She also offered to bring me the revised receipt but never came back with it. If I didn't get that audible alert on my phone, I would've been giving her a $60 tip! Who does this?? She would have had to do ALOT more to warrant a 50% tip!!
I told her upfront she was getting cash, and then she lets the charge go through with the additional amount as a tip and says nothing about it (like, perhaps there was an error). So WATCH OUT for this! Very disappointed!
