Nice variety of food mostly Italian great bread crusty European I would definitely make a reservation place is very popular they do have
parking but is also tight the night we were there…

Really good spot it was better than I expected. They have a little of everything, brunch, dinner, pizza, etc.

The black squid ink pasta was phenomenal
The pizza was not my favorite style but still very good and the toppings made it..
Appetizers we got wings, ribs and meatballs…

The ribs and wings were great meatballs were decent!

Our server was really awesome. Explained the whole menu, knowledgeable and attentive but not overbearing. Really good spot I’d come back for sure

We had an amazing dinner at Woodstack Pizza in Metuchen to celebrate both my birthday and Father’s Day — and it couldn’t have been a better choice!

The food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Popeye and Peppa Pig pizzas — both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with that delicious wood-fired crust. We also had the tagliatelle with short ribs and pappardelle bolognese — both pasta dishes were rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve.

To top it off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The whole experience felt like a treat without breaking the bank.

The atmosphere was cozy and modern, and the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Shout out to our cool waiter Elijah! It was the perfect place to celebrate a special evening with the family.

We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend for anyone looking for great pizza and pasta in Metuchen!

My Experience at an Wood Stack Pizza Restaurant 🇮🇹

It was honestly a great experience! I tried the wood Italian pizza and it was absolutely delicious was light and , and the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor in every bite.

Their bread was really special, and the pasta was excellent you could tell it was freshly made and carefully prepared. The service was great, with polite staff who were quick and attentive. The place was clean and well-organized, with a beautiful decor that gave off a warm, authentic Italian vibe.
I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Italian food, and I’ll be going back for sure

Large portions, quality ingredients, friendly staff, and a relaxed and inviting atmosphere really made this a delightful experience. Went with some coworkers for dinner after reserving in advance. The chicken wings weren't as crispy as I would like, but tasty, and very large. The roasted olives app was an unexpected treat. The Peppa Pig "meat lovers" pizza was crisp and delicious. Definitely worth trying!

I have been a fan of this place for over a year now. Every time I visit is always a great experience, except for this past Saturday night. When we arrived for our reservation I was NOT greeted by the hostess, I had to say hello to her. I had to tell her we had a reservation, and even after that she did not acknowledge or say a word until "Okay they're setting it up", then went to grab the menus and started walking towards our table without saying another word. I am in the service industry, I know what it's like to be a hostess and I was expecting at least a "follow me" or "this way", not play a game of charades. When we got seated we waited a little for our server, which was not a big deal. But then a busboy came by to give us water, which AGAIN without saying a "hello" or a word just shoved his hand in front of me to grab my cup of water in the middle of a conversation I was having. Overall the food is always great, the service itself was okay.

Highly recommend this Italian restaurant! I’m a vegetarian so I was please to see several options throughout the menu. I had the crispy brussels sprouts, margherita pizza, and Nina pizza and EVERYTHING was
so delicious! I’m definitely coming back here to try more items!

Great food and service! We sat by the Bar and was served by Nikki the mixologist. The cocktails were delicious, made with care and a lot of passion! Her customer service was top notch and her libations are always on point! She was also a great conversationalist as she explained the workings of the commercial grade juicer they had at the bar which I was quite excited about. The food was delicious! Woodstack Kitchen in Metuchen has never disappointed us! Thanks again for great customer service!

After traveling to Italy and experiencing some amazing Neapolitan-style personal pizzas for around $10, I was hoping to find something similar in the NYC area. Since I had a credit with my AMEX Gold card for any Resy restaurant, I decided to give Wood Stack Pizza + Kitchen in Metuchen, NJ a try.

I ordered the Margherita pizza for takeout, which was priced at $16. While the pizza wasn’t bad by any means, it didn’t quite meet the high expectations I had based on my experience in Italy. It was decent overall, but I’ll likely explore other options in the area that might be a closer match to what I’m looking for—if they exist.

The employee who took my takeout order over the phone was very nice, and the general vibe of the place seemed really good however.

We attended a birthday party with a group of 14. The staff were very nice, and the food was delicious. I don’t remember the name of the girl who served us on the second floor, but she was very sweet and proactive. At the end, we asked her to bring something that wasn’t on the menu. We wanted to try pasta with all the spices available in the kitchen. She went to the kitchen and talked to the chef about it. Fifteen minutes later, she came back with a plate of delicious pasta, perfectly spicy enough to satisfy our craving.
