A go to place for real, high quality Italian food. They know how to to make a proper prosciutto (extra please) , roasted red peppers, mozzarella and balsamic sandwich, a not common skill especially with the good stuff ingredients. Many daily prepared specials, lasagna and eggplant parm are must tries, even the wings they make are great. If you know the real Italian good stuff you'll feel at home here. Highly recommended.
I don't know why it took me forever to get over here myself, (my daughter comes here and brings food home) but today was a game changer! To physically come in and see and smell the deliciousness myself, WOW!!! Today I was craving a chicken cutlet with Fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers w/balsamic, and for some reason I thought let me goto A&G, they did not disappoint. Ill be back for the lasagna, sausage and peppers, eggplant parm, rice balls, stuffed...
This is the best Italian sandwich in NJ, maybe the whole US. Italian guy working there is exactly what u expect. “What’s going on brotha” “you gonna do that with da glaze”. Can’t recommend enough
