Very good ice cream flavors with great selections. They have a wide variety of ice cream cakes too - both ready to buy and custom. I wish they had frozen yogurt - I realized there are no places around with frozen yogurt.

The store owners are very friendly. We often visit on Wednesdays. Then they have the 2 Sundaes for the price of one. It is a great community small business. We missed them a lot during the Covid lockdown.

Been a while since I've seen a Tom Carvel ad (I suspect he's dipping cones in hot fudge in the heaven location now), and maybe 15+ years since I've enjoyed the custard at Carvel. Have done lotsa DQing. It's okay. And I think the dense, dense thick custard at Rita's may be a richer take on the confection. But Tom's custard was great on a hot late summer day.
