“Had the chef’s special …Chicken Pot Pie. It was outstanding!! Full of chicken and vegetables and this delicious sauce. I was a little concerned that the crust was thick but I had it with the sauce…it was perfect. Samosas were very flavorful as well. The chef even gave me a tasting of his pistachio cheesecake while I waited. It was to die for!! I will definitely be eating there again. You should too!!”

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.

Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.

“I came here for half-apps at 10PM, and it was a good experience. The food and drinks were good (consistent with food I've had at other locations), and our server, Nick, was attentive and friendly. The space was clean and relatively quiet, perfect for a casual night out with friends.”

“Booskerdoo Middletown donated hot chocolate for our local elementary school holiday event. It was such a hit! The kids loved the cocoa (peppermint and regular, mmmm) and it added such a special touch to the PTO organized family evening. Booskerdoo in general is great, but the Middletown location takes it a step beyond with their generosity, kind service, and personal touch from Jeff, the owner, who is almost always there making sure everything is running smoothly! You won’t get this type of caring and desire to be a part of the local community from just any coffee spot!

“Always love the quality of the ice cream and different flavors. But because they are so popular they really need to limit the number of samples they give out and have a line for milkshakes. That would really help speed things along.”

“I buy all my cakes from Debbie. She is great and can make anything and cakes are delicious!. My daughter wanted a Taylor Swift cake and everyone loved it. Debbie produces the best cakes , is a true artist and is just a text away!”

“Middletown's House of Chong seems to have undergone some kind of internal change and as a result their entrees are skimpy on the vegetables. So Tai Hing has become my favorite Chinese food spot, plenty of veggies in the entrees and savory sauces.”

“I love this place, authentic Taiwanese food only 10 minutes away. Take out only, have come here many times. The beef noodle soup is fantastic, both the spicy braised beef soup and “Vietnamese style”. The pickled and thickened soups are very good as well. San Bei Ji (Three Cup Chicken) is one of my favorite dishes and the version here is pretty good. The prices are very reasonable. Yes, the food is sold out the back of a bowling alley. Don’t mind that, it’s great takeout and I’m glad they’ve stayed open after the pandemic. Hours posted on Google are off - I think they open at 5 pm.”

“my husband and I have been coming to mjs for years whether it's for a lunch date or dinner with our kids MJS never disappoints. the food is always on point, no matter what we get it is always delicious. a few top favorites chicken Italiano sandwich, their homemade thousand island dressing for salads is out of this world, french dip is the best i've ever had. ahi tuna app to dye for! if ur lucky enough to get Emma as your server or Bartender you will not be disappointed she is always so personable attentive knows the menu really well and makes a mean expresso martini! she treats our kids like gold and keeps them entertained. Mjs is a well oiled machine run by the best manager I've ever seen. Dyan's attention to detail and making the place feel so welcoming and having everything that comes out of the kitchen on point she makes sure the servers and bartenders are very well trained. if she's there working she is always there greeting the guests and helping the staff make sure every guest has an amazing experience.She will also help you throw a sweet party and works with you to keep the price within your budget while giving you the best bang for your buck. she does an amazing job transforming the dining area into a great party space. I've had my son's christening, baby shower, birthday parties here in the dining room each time Dyan has gone above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. whether you are considering having a party or going to dinner or lunch do not pass MJS in Middletown up you will not regret it. & if you want a fun night out- Monday night bingo is always a hit or looking for something to do during NFL Sunday game day head to mjs it is an amazing atmosphere and great specials!”

“Jersey diner love. Old school vibe - probably the original decor. The service was super phenomenal. My server on this quiet Thursday morning was polite, attentive, asked if I wanted milk or cream for coffee (milk please, thank you for asking). And the coffee was so good! Not burnt like most places these days. Finally eggs perfect, pork roll just right (it’s jersey thing, you know) and specialty pumpkin pancakes. A treat!!”

“Tre Calore was a fantastic experience! Everyone was very friendly and the food came out fresh! The pizza is phenomenally made; with the crust having the perfect crisp and the sauce completing them whole package.

I was a bit unsure of Mexican food at a pizzeria but the empanadas made me change my tune! Just the right amount of seasoning on the chicken and they’re not shy about the size! Definitely would recommend to my friends next time I was in town!”

“I drove 75+ minutes (one way) to eat at this restaurant, that tells you what I think of this place. If you like authenticate Taiwanese food, and you live near by, I consider you a very lucky person.”

“By far my favorite local Dunkin' donuts! It's always crowded, but they are very quick super friendly and always happy every single day. I honestly wouldn't go to a different one that was closer and more convenient for me just because the staff there is so nice. They've also never not had something I've asked for which is kind of rare a Dunkin' Donuts these days a nice to have a reliable option. As far as Dunkin' Donuts go, this is the number one Monmouth County location!
