I absolutely love J&M bakery in Middletown, NJ! Their pastries are unmatched, and I can't imagine going anywhere else for baked goods. While I have respect for other local shops, J&M's pastries, especially the lobster tails, are to die for. The filling is divine, and you won't be disappointed. They are definitely a staple for my family on Sunday. And J&M's commitment to traditional Italian recipes and high-quality ingredients shines through in every bite. I remember when J&M opened. My father used to take me there for the Italian pastries which were always the best. I recently got married and had only a couple of weeks to plan the wedding. Matt and his staff were terrific and very helpful. The cake was not only beautiful, but it was out-if-this-world delicious. Thank you J&M!!

Ordered a birthday cake. It was chocolate with a layer of raspberry. It was moist and delicious! The chocolate was extremely rich. Very impressive quality. I have recently moved to middletown, and am thrilled that we have a terrific local bakery.

Absolutely incredible! I have never had anything that I didn’t love! The pignoli and rainbow cookies are amazing! The staff also so friendly and accommodating.You won’t be disappointed.
Stopped into this local bakery on my way to dinner at a friends house who lives in Middletown. The small bakery is right off the highway, so very easily accessible. When you arrive you'll be overwhelmed by the hundreds of sweet treat choices. From cakes to cookies to pizza dough, J&M has something for everyone. The woman who worked behind the counter was very helpful in her treat suggestions. I ended up going with a marbled crumb cake, which my guests loved. For me, it could've been a tad more moist. I also ordered a few different flavored rugelach pastries. I was a bit disappointed with these, as they tasted stale and not as fresh as I would've liked them. I would give J&M another shot and try some of their other options. If you're in a pinch looking for a late night bakery, try this place!

We have getting our Italian cookies here for years. The chocolate and jelly sandwich cookies are the best. The cookie is a delicious shortbread and there is so much filling...best ever. We also buy our fresh pizza dough here because it is so good. We drive from Old Bridge to get these items, well worth it!
