This place is an absolute joke. How can you make a bagel sandwich in the state of NJ and be proud of this. The owner should be ashamed. And to charge $6!

The bagel is not even good and the quality and price is an absolute joke. Drive two minutes up the road in either direction and you will find a top notch bagel shop that knows how to make a sandwich. My mistake for pulling in on the way to a sporting event in a hurry.

Look at the photos of the $6.09 one form MP Bagels and the one from Goldberger’s. Sorry it was almost gone before I thought to take a photo.

Went to go pickup 3 bagels at 8:57am before my work shift this morning and while being at work i went to go take a bite and discovered this. 2 hairs in the cream cheese of my bagel on both sides. Honestly so disgusting and beyond disappointing because the bagel looked good. I went here every morning before work and now will never go again. Do better MPB 👎

Great food and friendly staff.
I live around the corner at the Arnham apts and my go to place for delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
Recently visited NY Eve when I had a bad cold and the chicken and rice soup was just what I needed- homemade, hot and delicious 😘!
Thank you!
Kathy

This place has no problem with how food tastes, so far. I don’t like coming here (not because of the food) but, of the workers. The guy who took my order in person was patient with me, the other who did the cashier work was really sweet. It’s that lady. Didn’t catch her name.
Anywho, I go in and I told the guy hey I’m going to need a minute (I already had my husband order but wasn’t too sure on my own because I’m trying to get a not so heavy meal for my night lunch for work. I work late shifts). He goes okay and while I’m trying to plan out my lunch. That lady goes in Spanish: look at this one. She doesn’t even know what she wants.
I’m like wait what in my head. So I brushed it off.
Then she proceeded to make commentary about my haircut. I looked up but, didn’t say anything back. I guess I was in shocked.
So I wait for my sandwiches. The cashier tells me how much and if there’s anything else I needed. I said no. Told me to sign the receipt and I responded in my perfect Spanish to have a great day. Making sure they all heard me.
I’m not coming back. I told my husband. This is the second time this has happened to me but with this lady.

If you don’t have nothing nice to say. Please don’t assume that everyone is white. That isn’t cute. You don’t know what stress, abused, problems that people are going through. It hasn’t been a great year for me. I’m trying my best to be a better version of myself and to make myself well established. My first language was Spanish. I was born here, yes. But my primary language is indeed Spanish.

My advice is to change the way your employees give customer service. To even teach your employees to keep comments to themselves. Also to educated them in proper manners. I could have easily engaged in conversation. If it made them comfortable to speak and order in Spanish. I would have no problem in doing so. But I wanted to see how far this was going to go.

They make anything you want. In and out. Chicken Cutlet Sandwiches are my favorite from there. Tuscany chicken panini is goated though.

One of the most tasteless Bagels I have ever had. The first time I ever had and everything bagel that had no sesame, no poppy seed, and no salt

I have been to this bagel place nearly every weekend since they opened, and it was literally the only place I would go for bagels. I’d bring bagels to my friends in New York, because they preferred these, would even freeze them and bring them to family in other states.

Not anymore.

About four to five months ago something changed, bagels seem stale at 7am, and are no longer the fluffiest bagel you’ve ever had. First few times I chalked it up to a bad day at the shop, but months later and I am still wildly disappointed. Go back to the old recipe/cook/ingredients, as I’ll sadly be searching for a new spot.

Horrible place to order from. They do not read directions and bring you the wrong items or forget them altogether. They abosolutely do not care about their customers or client base. Never Again!!!!

I made a mistake in going back to this establishment. When I got home the bagels were hard as a rock. I will never go back to this place again.

Been coming here for almost two years. Bagels used to be great here, they are uneatable now. I don’t know what happened but I will be switching my bagel store.

Used to be my favorite bagel in the area, but recently the bagels have been consistently too hard.
