No. 1 Sushi - Midland Park

I went there for lunch today and the waitress was so rude i order and she gave me an attuide the. When i said when is the sushi gonna be ready i have a studio app in nyc she said they are busy and it will be a few mins there was 1 table in the whole placed filled she did not bring me any drinks or ask to check on the drinks the sushi was ok 1 rolll was just down right nasty and had a terrible smell to it and when i said that she looked at me and walked away... then when it became time to pay the bill i paid with $100 bill and she did not come back i said to her um can i get my change she came back with it in the biggest bills possible .... a $50 and then asked for a tip

I went with my friend on Friday and it was packed. But when I got my sushi, I know it was all worth it! My favorite roll is winter roll, there are a lot of option in their ayce menu. It’s 33.95 per person during the weekend. I think it’s better to make a reservation:)

We went on a Saturday for AYCE and they clearly don’t have enough waiters. Getting seated and getting the food took literally forever. It is not a good experience. Will not return.

My friends and I came to get all you can eat sushi and received the worst service we have ever had in our lives. We waited over an hour to get a table, 45 minutes for drinks, and over 1 hour for each round of sushi. The waiters came to our table three times within the 3.5 hours we were seated for. Every single time we had to ask them to come over for anything like just more water. They avoided our table and gave us less than half the amount we ordered every single time.

Came here with 6 friends and had to wait 40 minutes just for the drinks and over 1 hour for food both times we ordered. Very disappointed with how long everything took. They also did not give the right amount that we ordered.

One of the worst restaurants in this area. They are totally careless about the delivery orders. DoorDash and UberEats drivers comes here and wait for 20+ minutes in average for an order. UberEats and DoorDash drivers be aware. Don’t accept orders from this restaurant. I was almost about to lose my Uber Eats and DoorDash account because of them and this are my income source .

Absolutely bad place and service 🤮

I ordered 2 Alaska rolls for myself, the second roll was totally smelly and felt like the fish isn’t fresh. I took only one and returned the rest not to take risk. I told them that I couldn’t continue because the sushi wasn’t smelling right. They came with a check with a sorry and 20% discount and no regret to charge for a potentially unsafe food. I told them that I will pay, it isn’t about the money but this is not the right attitude and I don’t appreciate it. Then they brought another check taking the sushi out. i gave $20 and they didn’t bring back the changes. Very disappointing food and management. I just hope that I don’t get sick and hate sushi because of this unpleasant experience.

The sushi is amazing. It really is what they say it is - The Number One Sushi. It comes quick and tastes amazing. From Edamame to Sushi, No. 1 Sushi will fill your tummy with a very tasty meal.

Ordered sushi for our senior cat, he is dieing of lung cancer and has always wanted the sushi we ate. They took great care in preparing the order. Thankyou so much. It means more then you know.
