Take a trip here for lunch on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon order the smash burger and a beer and see if that all changes.”

“This is the real deal! If you want artisanal cheese and bread look no further. The young man who helped us was one of the bakers ands showed a true passion for what he did. We bought three different cheeses, frolic, cheddar, and a blue cheese and two loaves of bread, a rosemary and a cheese focaccia. Also they have a selection of meat as well. I got some duck bacon, I cooked some this morning and it is amazing. They also turned us on to Ironbound farm cidery and restaurant, check this place out as well.”

“Best goodies oh my. The staff were very sweet and friendly but the sweets were sooo incredibly good it pains me that I don't live closer. We got a box with a cream puff eclair, truffles and these other bite-sized treats, and cheesecake cups. All of them were mouth watering”

I don't have a problem with someone having a gripe-that's all well and good. But if you look at ONE-STAR JOHNNY'S reviews, he almost exclusively gives out 1 star to the establishments he reviews. So, we have a complainer that thinks giving 1 star will get him attention. Well...he'll get attention alright. That's why I've awarded him the name "1Star Johnny". I mean, he says he's "eaten there 20 times" but regrets it every time. Bro, it took you TWENTY TIMES to come up with that? You're a CLOWN, 1 Star Johnny...Give us all a break!!! Now that THAT is outta the way...as for the food, the service was friendly. The appetizers as well as the food were very good! We had several different items and they were all prepared nicely. The shrimp was cooked perfectly in the dish I had. We enjoyed everything and would totally return. Try it for yourself. Friendly service as well as solid food. That's a keeper. Beware of the clown reviews like 1 Star Johnny. When you go and eat the food, you'll see what I mean...”

The hubby is a huge fan of the shrimp lo mein and I just love their pork fried rice and Crab Rangoon!! “Stopped at Goldberg’s for breakfast on Sunday and was so happy with this bagel shop. I could have stayed all day!! Had two coffees with my breakfast sandwich. If you are in Milford or you want fresh delicious bagels, Goldberg’s is the Bagel shop to try. Also have pastries; hard boiled eggs; yogurt.”

“We went as a lunch party of 5 and it was a pleasant and welcoming environment. The interior was spacious and ceilings high, like an old town hall. Rustic & cool with a brewing room.Anna seated and waited on us with Emily’s assistance. The menu was reduced & CC machine / wifi were nonfunctional due to weather, but there were still multiple parties enjoying themselves.A few drinks, excellent meals, & desserts later we were out the door & greatly appreciative of the friendly service & excellent food.And by the way, we also found the opportunity to harass the chef on one of his pass-throughs with questions & praise. A knowledgeable gentleman, we appreciated your taking the time to talk with us.Thank you!”

“This place is special…. Very special. The food is incredible, the entire farm to table concept there is simply amazing. We had a delicious meal with great ciders and picked up some cider, fresh veggies, eggs and probably the best sausage we’ve ever had to take home. The team is so friendly and I cannot not recommend this place enough. Well worth the 45 min drive for us and we will go back again… & again & again.”

“Best Pizza in the area! I’ve lived in this area for over 30 years and am always searching for better pizza as the pickings are slim here…this is the best so far. As in the other reviews, it is thin crust but does not droop over, which is great as it is crispy and not so much oil/grease. Owner is very friendly and cordial. Highly recommend this newer place, we will be back despite it being 25 minutes from our home.”

“Great tavern and worth the trip. I had the blackened bacon blue cheese burger and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly medium rare. The special cream of mushroom soup was incredible! We also had a cauliflower crust white pizza. Again, very good. The wings were great! Everything came out hot. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and helped us with the menu. I saw the salads and they looked good. So did the steak. Make a reservation! We got lucky and they could fit us in.
