About Alba Vineyard & Winery
Alba Vineyard & Winery Reviews
I truly wish I could give this winery a NEGATIVE 5 rating. I recently visited Alba with my boyfriend for my birthday. I have never felt so unwelcome and subject to such horrendous service. There were only 2 African American couples at the winery that day. My boyfriend and I were 1 of the 2. The African Americans were the only ones given plastic cups to drink our bottle of wine…Among other profound racist behavior. We met a lovely accepting couple that day which made our time there manageable. Please Note: If you are African American/ non- Caucasian Alba Vineyard Winery does not appreciate your presence there. Please consider visiting other Vineyards that appreciate All People regardless of race.

Alba Vineyard & Winery is a highly recommended spot for wine lovers, known for its high-end quality wines. During a fall visit, the vineyard is especially picturesque with live music and great food available for purchase while enjoying the views. The white wines are a standout, but ultimately, wine preferences are personal. It’s suggested to try each flight option to fully experience their selection. Many visitors find it to be the perfect spot for a date night, especially when sitting outside in the vineyard, which feels like a vacation. Don't forget to take home a bottle of their port for a cozy rainy day. The knowledgeable staff contributes to a welcoming atmosphere, and Nick, a passionate member of the team, offers insights into their winemaking and farming methods. Though the price point for the wine is higher than other NJ wineries, it reflects the quality. The service may vary, but overall, the beautiful wines and ambiance make for a memorable experience.
