Our visit to Basilico was disappointing... Service was good. Unfortunately, the food was not. One of the spreads with the bread was like a watery hummus...not sure what that was. Split the carbonara pasta dish as an appetizer. Was okay... but didn't taste like carbonara should. One entrees was the short ribs. Here the meat was cooked well and tasted good. The saffron risotto with it was not great. The other entree was the organic chicken Basilico. This was not good at all....
Went here w my daughter and my MIL before seeing a play at paper mill and everything was fantastic, my MIL commented on her salad being the best and that she will come back just for that with my FIL. Perfect location near paper mill and absolutely wonderful gem in restaurant! Will go back :)
Great evening catching up with a friend! First time at this restaurant. We were able to eat amazing food while sharing stories, laughing and it felt like we were the only ones there. The attention form the staff as they anticipated what we needed was amazing we didn't need to ask for anything! We ordered for appetizer the charcuterie board with the fresh basket of bread. For my entree, I had the Chicken Milanese which was cooked to perfection and so refreshing with fresh...
