Love this place. A little piece of France right in Millburn. 🇫🇷🍲

This is hands down my fave restaurant in the area. Intimate setting with amazing French food (BYOB) - perfect for a date night. Menu changes often, but the lamb chops never disappoint. I’m patiently waiting for the oxtail gnocchi to grace the menu again (chefs kiss). Profiteroles were great for dessert, and were actually way better than one I ordered at a Paris restaurant.
Food can sometimes take a bit to get to your table after ordering but always worth the wait. You will need a reservation for holidays

Cafe Monet was just amazing. The ambiance was just perfect for a calm Sunday night. The steak frites was just perfect, as was the crème brûlée. Service was top as well. I will be back!

Dusty and worn out. They won’t seat you after 8:00, pm, even though they are open until 9:00. Owners need to retire. Look elsewhere.

Café Monet is an absolute gem for brunch lovers! From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a charming Parisian café, complete with elegant décor and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The hospitality is top-notch—the staff is warm, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. It’s also BYOB which is a plus.
The highlight of my visit was the quiche—perfectly baked with a flaky crust and a rich, flavorful filling. Every bite was a delight! Pair it with a fresh pastry and a cappuccino, and you have the perfect start to your day.
Whether you're looking for a leisurely brunch or a quick escape to Paris without leaving New Jersey, Monet Café is the place to be.

From the foie gras stuffed prunes to the warm baguette with garlic and rosemary infused olive oil to the shared appetizers and my beautifully stacked lamb chops with a fig and subtle mint reduction, everything was beautifully plated and delicious! Chocolate covered strawberries capping off the special Valentine's Day weekend menu were the perfect ending ❤️

Food is good, service is slow so take your time. They also include mini selection of items at the breakfast bar.
Charming little restaurant! It reminds me of some of the cafes that I've been to in Paris with its great atmosphere. The wait staff was very polite and helpful. However, the service was terrible. It was so slow! We were there a good hour before our order arrived! I don't know what their problem was (it should not have taken that long - it was an afternoon lunch) but I suggest they take a good look at their procedures and correct the problem. Otherwise, very nice.
Parking: On street parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is a problem. There are two or three steps up to the front door which someone in a wheelchair could not negotiate. Once inside, there seemed to be enough room to move around but getting inside would be the issue. In warm weather, there's outdoor dining, so not a problem but this was February. I use a rollator/walker, so it wasn't hard to lift it up the steps to enter.

So unique! Had a wonderful visit, the food was great, true French feeling, first time for me, made want to visit France. The crepe I had was so good and talk about presentation. Definitely going to return.

We had brunch today there, and one of my kids got food poisoning.
We will not be returning here.
