My friend had eggplant rollatoni, which I tried & it was excellent, as was the sauce on top of her pasta. For appetizer, the portobello mushroom stuffed with spinach & goat cheese was outstanding!! My black cod was very good, & it was on top of sliced tomato & grilled asparagus. It's a BYOB. Will definitely return.

buffalo wrap was just chicken, it was my fault for assuming there would be lettuce and tomato. I don't know how someone could call this w famous stuffed artichoke without any explanation. It was covered in brown gravy and mozzarella cheese. We clearly were shocked and only tried the parts not covered in gravy.

Fantastic experience across the board! A few friends and I decided to visit this place after a 6 hour hike conquering the South Mountain Reservation, so we had worked up quite the appettite. Eating here was a pure gem. I don't even know how La Strada is still in business. The music playlist was awesome, with 70s/80s rock classics like queen and the beatles and famous movie songs like kung fu fighting. The ambiance was excellent, serving was sublime, the food was incredibly delicious (came quickly and was remarkably affordable!) It's rare for a restaurant to feature every single one of these perks. Would highly reccomend to anyone— and make sure to ask for the menu specials, as those are really great.

Love this place! Staff is great but the food is just top in town
Excellent place. Always my kids favorite pizza in town. Matzo pizza so yummy too. My new favorite is the focaccia pizza if you’re lucky and it’s made that day! The chicken parm one is my favorite! All the food is great too. Ballerina salad with chicken is unique too!

Food was good but service was ok, when we got the ck the gratuities were included 20% which it was not a problem due to the fact we had a party of six, but as we were walking out we were stopped at the door because .65 cents were not included even though they got 20%. Now because of .65 cents they loss six clients and not good reviews. BTW we were the only table in the dining room??♀️ .65 cents?

I’m really sad to post this here. We had high hopes for this place and the food is actually decent, except that in the pizza there is a staple. I felt really fortunate that it was me who got that slice instead of my parents or my kid. This is too scary.
It is really a shame because the food smells and tastes very good. Now I’m not sure whether I’d dare taking my family here any more.
We phoned in the order for takeout so don’t know about service or atmosphere.

We don’t live in the area so we went online to find a restaurant near the Papermill Playhouse. The menu looked good and the prices moderate. The 4 of us were so pleasantly surprised by how good the restaurant was. I had capellini with shrimp and mushrooms in a white wine sauce. It was delish. My husband got veal parm which he said was very good. Generous portions and friendly service is why I give this restaurant 5 stars.

Cute little place. Diverse menu, good food, excellent service. The prices and portions were very generous. The Mozzarella Caprese appetizer was very good. We got cheese lasagna, papardelle with vegetables, and a chicken dish with sausage and we were all happy with our dishes.

Recently switched pizza providers to this place. Unfortunately, the pizza is just not good. The dough is mediocre at best, and their margherita pizza is an embarrassing product. Mozzarella cheese is a core component of margherita pizza. However, this establishment has skimped on the cheese to an unacceptable degree. I get it. Good mozzarella is an expensive ingredient. But trying to save cost by essentially eliminating major ingredient, and thus rendering the pizza essentially trash, is a gross disrespect of the customer. If you can’t make money on the product due to the cost of production, then raise the prices!!! I would rather pay a couple bucks more for a quality product, than waste money on this sad failure that is considered to be the same as “Pizza”. I would like to extend my gratitude to the restaurant for its good service and friendly staff. Nuff said
