Very consistent. Always delicious food and wonderful service. A total gem of a neighborhood restaurant which is BYO with a great store for wine down the street. We have loved it here and continue to come for over 10 years!

The chicken parm is the best , hands down. Whenever it's on the menu we are sure to order it. But everything is always perfect!

We had an excellent experience! The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It was perfect for a relaxing evening. The chicken parm was a standout, a large portion, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Everything from the service to the overall vibe made it a place I'd definitely return to and recommend to others.

The portions were huge, each one big enough for two people. The server didn't inform us of this. Specials were very expensive.

La Pergola is our new go to for Italian, the food, service, and ambiance was perfect. We have the spinach/ ricotta ravioli, the Parmesan crusted chicken and the black linguine, and it was all delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place, can't wait to go back.

We love going here for dinner. The food is generally outstanding! The last few times we went, the food was good but not outstanding. The service is exceptional, top notch!! The people are very friendly and quite lovely. We generally eat outside, but now it's getting colder, so inside we go. Outside is lovely and inside the restaurant is warm and inviting however, the music was too loud. Will I go back? YES! We have been going for years and it never disappoints.

First time at this establishment. My wife and I brought two guests for an early dinner prior to a show. The service was good, waiting for our dinner was slightly slow, but very good. My wife and her guest ordered chicken Parmesan, which came looking like a a mini pizza pie. It was so huge and we could not take it with us due to the fact that we were going to a show. I believe the waiter should've warned us. Otherwise, it was a very nice restaurant and we'll go back again, although it was a bit more pricey than most Italian restaurants

Lovely restaurant with good service. We stopped by for an early dinner after a matinee at the Papermill theater. Food is generally good. Appetizers were tasty, but just what you would expect. The main dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We tried cod piccata, mahi-mahi and veal Milanese. Very happy with all choices and veal Milanese was a whole chop, had to take some home. Service was prompt and attentive and the restaurant space is lovely, spacious with clean lines, well appointed. There is BYOB. There is parking right across the street. Very nice place to have pre or post theater lunch or dinner in Millburn and would also recommend to groups of friends and couples.

We have eaten at Pergola multiple times in advance of a visit to the Paper Mill Playhouse. We were running a little late on Saturday but they were very understanding. The service team works together and we had a number of people attending to us when the primary waiter was occupied with other tables. We ordered the chicken parm and veal chop specials which were excellent but were portions that required all of us to take some home. They are the largest portions we have ever experienced. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Enjoyed every bit of experience. We were 10 ladies and the service was great and the food arrived together to serve and hot

We came for the enormous Chicken Parm, which didn't disappoint my son at all. Chicken parm was $48 but it is a doulble portion. I had the sole which was fine. My husband really enjoyed lasagna. Calmari was a special - so not listed on the menu. It was good but at $34 was so overpriced! Service was attentive.
