Food and service were good. We had to rush through our meal somewhat as we couldn't get change for the parking meter. We are used to using credit cards at meters, but none are available near the restaurant.
La Pergola is a quaint restaurant with a nice ambience and excellent food. Wait staff and owner are attentive and efficient. My dish, Spinach Fettucine was marvelous, and my companion loved the large portion of Chicken Parmesan, each of with came out steaming hot. BYOB establishment with a recommended spirits store a few doors down. Highly recommend this establishment to friends and acquaintances.
Loved the service. The outside table was very nice except for a few bug bites. Food was delicious but I did not care for the excessive breading on the oyster appetizer. Tuna very good. And cantaloupe. I would return.
