I canāt comment on the food because my child is the only one who ever orders here. I just come in to pick it up. Thatās why I noticed the place seems to be in serious trouble. It looks like itās been around for a long time and has become a ātraditionā for many local residents. Iām not sure if itās still the same owner, but the employees certainly seem unhappy.
The staff member I encountered today had no expression at all, completely robotic, with a poker face that made it seem like she didnāt want to speak to me. When I expressed my confusion, the manager or assistant manager blamed me for asking too much and even threatened to call the police.
I understand itās private property, and Iāll definitely stay away from this place from now on. A restaurant is never just about the food, and sadly, it seems that whatever ātraditionā this location once had is fading away.
Well, i checked some of the one star reviews, two of them are from recent months. The problem raised? Rude staff and bad attitude.
I read the ownerās response. Apparently, the staff did nothing wrong and Iām the one at fault. It seems, unfortunately, that Iām not the only person who has been put off by a rude employee. And honestly, I donāt trust an unhappy employee to be preparing anyoneās food.

I love Millburn deli. Iāve been going there for years and I love their food. I love all their sandwiches. this might seem petty, but the only reason Iām giving four stars is because they remove the Cubano, but other than that, I would give them five.

Millburn deli serves happiness, the sandwich is the byproduct. And the byproduct is always delicious. Comparing a sandwich to winning the lotto implies you get lucky, everyone who eats here leaves a winner Iām my opinion. Look past the ingredients, Itās the people, the attitude, the commitment to excellence between two pieces of bread. Amazing like always.

My first time here and finding parking was my only frustration. My wife has been here more often than not and warned me of possible long lines. So, I placed my order in advance using their online ordering service which was simple and clear. It said 30 minutes, but I got there in 20 and it was ready for pick-up. Very impressive! I ordered 3 different sandwiches; the Gobbler, the Perfect Ten & the Superman. I think I ordered the latter by mistake, but who cares, it was š„š„š„. Also, when I arrived, I had gone in to the main entrance but the staff, who is incredibly friendly, pointed me two doors down where I was greeted by another set of friendly staff. This place is amazing. Iām sure when the line is out the wazoo and people are hangry, tension can get high. This is just my honest review of what I experienced today and I am officially a fan and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone within 30 minutes of this place. Even if you have to wait a while, the wait is worth it. -šNobody
If you're a fan of a good deli sandwich, you have to check out @millburndeli ā it never disappoints! The chicken bruschetta is seriously delicious. I've had their Chicken Fresca, Soprano, and Hail Caesar! But my faves are the chicken bruschetta and chicken Fresca. Honestly whatever you order I'm sure will be good. Check it out.

I placed a mobile order directly through their website, which was much smoother than using DoorDash app. Just donāt order too close to closingāthey donāt answer the phone then. Iāve visited both the Millburn and Montclair locations; the outdoor seating is nice. For the quality of their deli sandwiches, the prices are absolutely worth it.
