When I walked in there was nobody inside except two ladies eating their bowls. My friend and I ordered our smoothies and sat down. It took 20 minutes for me to get my smoothie and it tastes terrible. Tastes like it was watered down. And I cant even ask them to remake it because I refuse to wait any longer. It took 30 minutes for my friend who ordered right behind me to get his smoothie. Unacceptable!

I was near the area the other day, and I wanted something cool and refreshing, so I stopped by Playa Bowls and honestly? One of my happiest choices of that day.
The place has this cool, laidback vibe with vibrant colors and immaculate song selection that instantly makes you feel like you can tone down and relax.
I went with the Electric Mermaid (because, why not treat yourself?) and it did not disappoint. Now, I understand why the bowl is described as electric; its color and taste have an explosive effect. The pitaya base was cold, smooth, and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and generous.
Also, the staff were friendly and super chill--quick with service but. not rushed. Just good energy all around. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving something that feels like a cool breeze on a bowl.
