Good food. And they have bubble tea and hotpot perfect combination. There is smoke because of BBQ.Kid-friendliness: Not many choices for kids.

Poor service. The waitress was a little rude. No good customer service. The food grease. For a Japanese restaurant in Millburn…..????

Fish is consistently dry and flavorless - they mix breadcrumbs or fried Panko into the fish as a filler. Ordered 5 spicy tuna rolls. They came in 2 containers. 1 container looked normal. The other looked dry and stale. got food poisoning from that second

The menu is deceiving. I would say Sushi by Bu, Nakazawa, and Nikko Sushi ruined sushi restaurants for me, but my issue with this place is they advertise high-end fish (“O-Toro”, “King Salmon Toro”), and ingredients like truffle salt on scallop. I can honestly say the quality of fish was not as good as other restaurants like Nikko in Whippany, who do not advertise on their menu other than listing just as Toro and King Salmon (not O-Toro and Salmon Toro). Also, the scallop had no truffle salt. When I asked for a side, they’d bought out plain salt (absolutely no truffle flavor). They advertise high-end items and charge high-end prices, but I would not go back and can spend less at a place like Nikko for fresher/better quality

I had the Salmon Teriyaki yesterday for lunch and it was absolutely divine. I did also enjoy the Miso soup to start with but I fully recommend this establishment for some seriously delicious food!

Didn't take a picture of the food but I should've. I got the chicken teriyaki ben5o box and the eel sashimi with mildly low expectations. Thing is, their portions were perfect for me, the chicken was cooked perfectly, not burnt or under cooked like other sushi restaurants, their plain rice you can tell was cooked with love. The mild sweetness plus a hint of rice wine. Not sure if that's really how they cooked it but daaaaamn. Oh and the onions? Not charred, not severely undercooked, it was damn near amazing. Their miso is pretty great, personally would have preferred a bit more tofu but that's just a me thing. Their salad was also properly portioned and to be honest I came in thinking they'd be busy but I'm glad I came when it was pretty quiet. The service was quick and the staff was great. Next time I will probably order more though ?. Give this place a shot and dine in. It's amazing

i loveeee the food here but the service could definitely be better. i ordered a very small dish and it took 30 minutes to come out even when it was just me in the restaurant, nobody else. another time i went with a friend and we got small things and were only going to pay 15 dollars but they said that we had to spend at least 20 unless we were getting takeout. it was really annoying but otherwise i like it here

Sunday and finally a non rainy Sunday! So, we decided to go out, but before the outdoors, we were hungry for some sushi. I just got my gallbladder taken out, so I didn't eat much. I did read the reviews, and a lot of people seemed to complain about service. However, I did have a very attentive service. The place was bigger and nicer than I thought. It goes in a bit deep. Nice to go with your family. The house salad was good. It's bigger than I usually see in other sushi restaurants. We tried the ceviche tacos... they were ok... I was excited for then, but I think it was hard to get the flavors because the fried shell was "thick" (for being small), and all I tasted was a fried tortilla flavor We also got the sexy roll because I love scallops, and it was a very tasty roll indeed! I wish I had something different than what I saw already on Yelp, but I was starving, hahaha. I would go again and try more!

Good deal for lunch special from Monday to Saturday, most choices are $14 to $16 with salad and miso soup. The sushi are fresh. However, the waitress there are quite rude. I saw some reviews complaining about that, and today I experienced myself…hope the owner/manager can take the reviews seriously and can train the staff with better client service.
