I have ordered the chicken tikka empanadas and other types of empanadas from the Bites and Bowls food truck at least twenty times over the past years, and I can genuinely say they are top quality every time. Other empanadas from food trucks in the area are cold in the middle or lack filling. The cafe is inside an office building and can be difficult to find for someone who does not work in that building. The food was good, however, the advertising online confused me because it looks like it was Mexican food (which they have) but they have mostly other items, like salads, sandwiches, and more. The menu and marketing is definitely a little confusing but overall good food and prices.
This place is so awesome by far a delicious combination fusion, it's a mixture of Guyanese meets Spanish. Very flavorful I had the J*** Chicken Empanadas before and the Fusion Bowl. I only had this 2x not even disappointed. I plan trying other food from here..? Great food for a great price plus I like this cute little area here in Milltown.
