“We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“I hosted my friend’s 50th birthday here last week and it was great! Mike the owner was super accommodating and made sure everything was set up when we arrived. The staff was amazing and even with the multiple checks we had with people sitting all over the place, they still got everything right!!!! I’ve been living in the area for about 15 years now and just randomly tried this place one day, and let me just say it not only exceeded my expectations but blew them out of the park. I’m genuinely amazed at how not many people know about this restaurant. The owner is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met, we talked for 15 minutes just about her business it was 2 minutes before they closed and she offered me all of the left over pizza they hadn’t sold that day FOR FREE. I’ve found my new favorite go to Italian spot.“

“Drove from Cleveland to a meeting in NYC, specifically had a layover in New Brunswick, just to have dinner. This was my second trip for dinner in two months and it exceeded all expecations, the hoilday decor transformed the second floor. The service (Regan) was on point, pleasant and efficient with out being over bearing. The meal was the single greatest pasta dish I have had in the U.S. (wild boar ravioli) Already making plans to return, if you are with in a days drive, you really have no excuse not to enjoy a meal with them.“

We ordered fried mushrooms which were previously frozen and not very good and I had the buffalo wings which were average with little flavor. “Ordered an eggplant rollatini app and my companion had liguini with clams. Both dishes were delicious. The eggplant app was more than enough for lunch with warm bread and a glass of chianti. The linguini included a salad and there was enough to take home leftover. Both were classic dishes, executed beautifully, hitting all the right notes. the marinara was perfect! Service was friendly and attentive, great ambience in what was formerly a train station. Recommend!“

“Food is always good, people are friendly the only problem I had is outside of this. Today when I paid I used my debit card instead of paying cash like I have every other time this was around 12:15pm today. The employee made a big deal about it being a NASA Card (my mom worked at Nasa & I have had an account there since 10th grade) By 1:30pm someone had attempted to use my card for a $1,339 AT&T purchase that was declined three times then used some Delta D account to charge $799.60 and unfortunately the second attempt work. I just came from the location and and all I had was smoke blown up my but. Either an employee or patron did something and they have a camera inside the store but was told the owner has the key. If the owner would just let me know when he will be there I will show up and we can handle this like gentlemen. I have been going to this place for over 5 years and work near by. For the record the card has been cancelled and NASA is tracking where charges are being attempted from. Paul“

The atmosphere reminded me of how restaurants used to be when I was a kid, growing up in NY. Top notch customer service and the icing on the cake.. food was amazing. We ordered appetizers including the baked wings and buttermilk fried calamari which was delicious. We had pasta dishes including carbonara, penne vodka and even gnocchi. All of which were amazing. “The service was ok. The food was as expected so no complaints there either. Overall the visit was mid, I prefer the one in Woodbridge if I had to choose, just gave more of a family vibe. However this one isn't nearly as busy as the Woodbridge location, so it was much quieter. I'd say the food came a little faster in this location but not by much, which was weird since it wasn't nearly as busy. Nonetheless no qualms and the food & service did what they needed to.“
