Sunday morning breakfast day so we decided to explore this spot. Good parking available, clean place & decent menu. Aniyah, was our sweet waitress. We chose the Classic Big Jam and Shrimp/Fish & Grits Combo. Aniyah came back to confirm my Big Jam choice within mins so we were surprised of our wait time. We literally waited 35mins for our meals & they weren't even busy. When she delivered my Big Jam, it was without the pancakes. Okay, I'm thinking she'll be back with them. Five mins go by, I wave to her & ask about the pancakes. She told me that the grits were a sub for the pancakes...NO, I subbed the potatoes for the grits...she was off to the kitchen...literally 10 mins went by...I'm the person who likes to enjoy my whole meal together not in pieces! So another person who was at the cash register brought over the pancakes...lol, with no syrup or knife! I signaled to him & asked for sugar free syrup in which he said, he'd never heard of that...whoa, so hubby enjoyed my pancakes. I must say, my turkey bacon was awesome! Scrambled eggs, yuk! Not scrambled as I could see whites. Grits were usual in taste, I believe cooked in chicken stock not water, yuk! And powdered sugar heavily sprinkled all over the pancakes! Usually, most places ask if you want sugar so I didn't expect that. Especially looking forward to sugar free syrup. It seemed that this was a new establishment so I asked how long they've been in business, 2 years...REALLY! Would I return, NO!

Stopped in with my husband, sister, and sister’s partner for breakfast this morning. What a nice spot! The food was delicious and the service was quick, friendly, and attentive. My husband is now obsessed with the shrimp and grits! The gravy bowl was also very good, and my sister enjoyed her waffle. We got some sweets to go and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
This is a great place to get your cakes. Whatever you are celebrating, they've got you covered. From cup cakes, to sheet cakes, to peach cobbler, chocolate covered pretzels... everything is delicious!Parking: There is free street parking. I've never had a problem finding a place to park.

Ok so boom: I had been trying to get here for a while and let me tell y’all- ?? WORTH ?? EVERY ?? PENNY because the food was everything. Had me rocking side to side like a grandma in church! I had the Fish, Shrimp & Grits with peppers, onions and sausage. My partner had the Country bowl with Sausage Gravy , she spent most of her time in my plate ??. Don’t get me wrong- The County bowl was delicious! But the Fish, Shrimp & Grits were just something else! The fish was golden brown and fried to perfection, The shrimp were just right and the grits were just the right consistency ??. It was empty when we went so it was perfect. The service was wonderful, and the staff was super sweet And attentive. It’s cozy, and the soundtrack wasn’t bad either. Smooth jazz is always a win.There’s a bakery too! Cakes, cupcakes, pies! And they all looked delicious! Please do yourself and a favor and go! It’s quite easy to miss but once you find it- you’ll never forget it! What an AMAZING visit! I Surprised my sister Makema Edwards-Douglas for her birthday brunch/celebration (Aug. 27, 2023). For me to be so far away from home (Alabama) the fried fish & fries were delicious. Not to mention the strawberry ?. The look, tears and joy that was shared made my trip worthwhile.
