“I'm more of a Flipper's custard guy, but Blinker's isn't bad. Their prices have stayed reasonable (Hard to say about other places here) and the quality is decent, but I think their portion size is severely lacking. A large hot fudge sundae keeps getting smaller and smaller each year, and lately they've been putting them in thin, cheap plastic cups whereas they used to use sturdy waxed cardboard ones. A little gripe, I know, but it bothers me since these new ones drip more, get wetter/colder and don't hold as much ice cream. Still, not too bad if you need a quick treat and you're walking to the lake.”

Nothing has changed except the prices and the amount of food you get. Prices went way up and the amount of food you get went down. Which is just the way it is everywhere anymore. Food and service is still good.”

“Good sandwich shop, unless you are vegetarian. Steer clear of the veggie sandwich: It's basically a sub with just the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onions, sweet/hot peppers) and no filling. If you're expecting some roasted vegetables, or something similar, you're out of luck.”

Lady who took the order was nice/professional. Delivery guy was super polite, friendly and downright pleasant. (Srsly 5 stars for delivery service, he was delightful!) Food was still piping hot, order was accurate to a 'T,' and it arrived right on time by the lady's estimate.

We got two different kinds of lo mein, and sweet and sour chicken - pretty basic, but we were craving it and it's a good way to try out a new restaurant. Anyway.
Lo mein was PHENOMENAL. Clearly prepared by someone who knows what they're doing, made to order, great flavor, and not super greasy like lo mein so often is. Veggies were all cooked tender-crisp, meat was tender and cooked perfectly. You can absolutely tell that the lo mein was properly pan-fried, and the flavor is just unbeatable. The sweet and sour sauce was a little different - kind of like a hybrid sweet&sour/duck sauce - and soooo good. And, guys, the chicken itself wasn't greasy, and even reheated perfectly in the skillet the next day.

We will absolutely be back.

And they do make both plain and vegetable lo mein.

This spot has some of the best wings around. A little pricey as is everything these days but they are my go to when I want some wings and cheese fries”
