Tried Fortesque Fisherman’s Ale at the Maplewood inn this past week and immediately loved it. Glad to find it at Canals and they carry it. Awesome specialty beer!

Glasstown Brewing Company is a popular brewery located off the beaten path in South Jersey, near the Millville airport. It offers a variety of tasty drafts, including a dark stout, hard sodas, and a hard iced tea/lemonade. The Fisherman's Ale and the Mosaic Man are standout options among the selection of 16 beers on tap, as well as two hard sodas and one hard seltzer. The cozy interior and outside deck have about 12 tables, with additional seating available in a covered tent outside, where dogs are welcome. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive, although signage could be improved for newcomers. The brewery also features outdoor exhibits of planes and military structures, creating a pleasant vibe in a rural, wide-open area. Travelers and locals alike find it a convenient stop, and visitors can enjoy the back deck with firepit tables for cooler days and nights. There is no AC inside, but a nice breeze on the outside deck makes it enjoyable.
