Always look forward to eating here but this year I go in and it's the first time for this season and it was so uncomfortable sitting and eating all employees was embarrassed seemed like to me for the one simple fact of the cook upfront to be talking down to the employees and saying he don't have to keep paying them triple or double to think and to be stupid it's so sad it has came to this I will not be back. To me Jim's lunch is over and finished don't waste time here spend your hard earned money at another establishment. He shouldn't be aloud in there let alone to run or do any kinds of business.

Jim’s Lunch is always fun. It’s a Millville institution, run by multiple generations of the family. It’s like walking back into 1950, but in a good way. Food is great, place is clean, staff is friendly. What more could you ask for?

This place is an institution. I have been going here since I was a child. Now that I moved away, any time I am in town I make sure to stop in. Cheeseburger with everything is the best!

Cost a little more per person because we had a takeout order for home. I had the triple cheeseburger with everything. Mustard, onions, and of course sauce. Picture is half the sandwich.

We tried to have lunch weeks ago and while they were supposed to be open, they weren't, no post or anything on their FB. So be it, we tried again today, they are only open half the year...
Basically everything was an issue. The tables weren't clean, the food wasn't good and even when we went to pay they tried to charge us for items we didn't consume. The mashed potatoes tasted odd, too much milk but still had big lumps. My husband's stomach was turning before we got home. Not sure what happened. Such a disappointment when we were excited to come back, never going again.

I'm only giving 1 star! It's not the food. The food is and always has been delicious for the last 30 years that I've been coming here. I used to live in millville as a kid but now I live much further away. So now it became more of a delicacy for me since the place is about an hour away. Today I went with my fiance for the last time this year before they close for the season for one last burger. Like I said the food was great. My fiance and I were eating minding our business. I was really enjoying the double hamburger with everything on it. I was looking down at my plate in the zone eating the deliciousness I had in front of me. I look up and there's some guy I never seen there before staring at me in front our booth. He just stood there staring at me and then kept asking me I'd I was dead or meditating or something stupid like that. He made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed to be there. I was minding my own business just trying to enjoy my food sir! Leave me alone. So I left immediately. NEVER have I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed in this place before. I don't know if I'll ever be back. Unfortunately as I was paying for the bill. I found out the guy was the owners husband ?. I said oh great. I hope that's not what he does normally to people because he's going to send alot of people out the door. I hope I never see him again if I ever come back. Sharon was my server and she was great. After I told her what happened she got me out of there very quickly. From the sound of it this isn't the 1st time he has done this either from what I heard so watch out for him. I miss Rochelle and Jim. Perhaps only order takeout to avoid any problems.

Good food, but I’m not a fan of the special sauce so I don’t get it on my food but my mom, my sister and my daughter like it

It's all about the sauce; I ask for it on *everything* I order from here and it NEVER disappoints... burgers...cheese steaks... fries--you name it.

Probably the Greatest Breakfast I have had in the Thirty years of my life. Real Corned Beef Hash, not canned. Eggs didn't need any additional salt or pepper. The Hot and Sweet Sausage were both fantastic. And the French Toast was to die for.

It was good just service wasn’t friendly

I only eat the burgers with special sauce and cheese. I know that sounds boring but I've got to tell u I guarantee you've never before eaten a burger like it. They r fresh, made to order, and the service is both quick and friendly. For those on a budget 4 burgers is roughly$20, but we'll worth it. Swing buy, check it out and tell them skip sent u. Enjoy!!
