The pizza is good but different than most. Not everyone's preferred slice. Very top heavy, tons of cheese and sauce. It's a different type of cheese then most too. More gooey, rather then chewy and crisp like other pizza places. Very thin on the dough, and a nice crisp crust. All in all it was good, just not what we're used to. The person on the phone was very nice and she gave us a free 2 liter when we ordered a drink that was not available. Will order again when...
The service, the food and the atmosphere are great. I must say I ordered a pizza and a steak quesadilla and I must say that is the best I’ve ever had. I would recommend you must try. That quesadilla sooo good.
Been going here since the 80s. To be honest I stopped getting round pizzas from them in the late 2000s because they dropped off....but not lately. Wow...have they returned to their 1980s form. The round pizzas are super soft with chewy crust and tons of sauce. S&J is once again the best pizza place in NJ. Been going there for months now and every pizza I get is PERFRCT.
