Soul food at its best in Millville NJ. Had the shrimp and grits. It was over the top with flavor quantity for the low $15. Also had their turkey wing dinner with mac & cheese, collar greens. I tell you, I'm going back for that again because the whole meal was luxury combined with hood. All the prices are reasonable, but their food is worth way more. Going to try their crab combo next times as it looks way better than the average seafood boil somewhere else.

Heads up if u ever order to go or delivery eat a snack first. The waiting time at this place is ridiculous. Every single time u order here u will wait a good 20-30 mins. The cashier always looks flustered. This place is very unorganized. I can’t tell u how the food taste because I end up canceling my order because of how long it takes.

I have ordered food from here a few times. The food is always tasty but a little salty. The last time I ordered food was Sunday 9/21/25 around 12:30pm. I ordered smothered turkey wings, mac n cheese, and string beans and peach cobbler. I picked up my food and it smelled so good. When i got home and begin to eat the food itwas soooooo salty. I ate a little bit but i couldnt eat anymore, the sodium taste was unbearable. Lets just say i wasted 20+. The food wouldve been eatable and good if it wasnt soooo salty. The rest of my food went in the trash. The peach cobbler was so so. Soul of the Sea owner can you please tell the cooks not to make the food so salty where u cant even eat it. Somebody is heavy handed with the salt.

While attending my son’s football game, I stopped by the food truck and was warmly greeted by a friendly staff member who quickly took my order. On her recommendation, I tried the fried whiting, mac and cheese, yams, and a blue drink, all of which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and I truly appreciate the great experience. I’ll definitely be supporting this establishment again in the future.

Mac and cheese isn’t even baked. Food is basic, could had my bm cook something better at home. It’s very taxy for a small amount of mediocre food. Maybe the chef should add some flavoring and BAKE the Mac and cheese. It goes a long way.

This was our first time trying soul of the sea fresh and it was amazing!! We got the chicken wings with baked beans, baked Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes and it was all so delicious. Didn’t need any sauce with the wings since it was seasoned so well. Will definitely be coming back to the food truck location.
