Last night was the first time visiting The Miner's Apron since was reworked form being NJ Bar & Grill.
The new operation has definitely made some changes and made it more upscale.
The food is definitely beyond pub fare and was very good. You can tell that they are paying attention to details and making quality fresh food.
It still has the feel of a locals hangout. It was moderately busy, but more of the clientele was at the bar than in the dining...

It's like we were in on a secret because there is no other reason this place shouldn't have been packed! From the quaint setting and accessible yet carefully chosen menu, to the impeccably plated and flavorful food as well as the premium bar- The Miner's Apron pulls off effortlessly whatever those high snobiety restaurants think they're doing. Get here soon to experience the most lovely and attentive staff and a real meal you won't soon forget!

Delicious food, wonderful service and welcoming atmosphere! Everyone was friendly, the owner was helping serve food and engaging with customers. The key lime pie was amazing! Our server told us she makes the deserts and she is definitely talented!
