So I can’t say enough about the Basa fish. They didn’t have enough whiting for my order. The owner suggested Basa fish. When he gave me my order, I asked if he put any tartar or hot sauce in the bag. He responded that his fish was well seasoned. Well let me tell you…I am a person that drowns my food with condiments. I did not put a thing on the Basa fish! It was seasoned to perfection! I am a new Basa fan! I will be going back often.

Literally just left the parking lot, but we loved our meals. Got 12 wings, half with their spicy peach, and half with Cajun buffalo. We had the whiting platter with collard greens & potato salad, and a pulled pork sandwich. All of it was so good. We have leftovers and it’ll definitely be somewhere that we stop when we’re back in the area! If you haven’t been, you should go or order takeout.

God bless the gentleman on the phone that helped me with ordering. fried whiting was beyond flavorful and had a decent crunch that woulda been better if i picked up ! yams were top tier. as for the mac and cheese I can say it is very creamy but the only thing i would say it would need is a little more season if you combine the flavorful whiting with the mac its a crazy combo overall I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a good soul spot

I had the whiting with collard greens and cabbage, plus two more whiting with fries—and let me tell you, everything was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried just right, and the sides had that real home-cooked flavor you can’t fake. The collards and cabbage were tender and flavorful, like something straight out of Grandma’s kitchen.
